Overall Experience: I love ASU and my major because it's one of the best school for my major and the school in general is very diverse, something I appreciate.

Overall Experience: I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am extremely blessed to have been accepted and given the opportunity to go to this school! Before I had plans to go to school further from home so that I could be more independent but as it turns out Arizona State University was the school for me! I LOVE THEIR DEGREE PROGRAM!! And I also have fallen in love with my degree; Acting ! I AM SO HAPPY I CHOSE TO BE A SUN DEVIL!

Overall Experience: I enjoy the campus and the environment I go to school in, and at first ASU was not my first choice. I wanted to be further from home and more independent, but I believe everything works out the way its meant to and I think I've always been a sun devil at heart.

Overall Experience: I enjoy the large campus feel even though classes are relatively small. The staff are really eager to help all students exceed. My favorite experiences have been meeting new people and learning subjects that I am interested in. I would choose my school again because I believe I am receiving a very high quality education.

Overall Experience: I go to Arizona State University as an out of state student! I love the atmosphere here and yes it may be a big school but once you are apart of a group or have that group of friends you go and have fun with and do activities with you feel apart of the school even more. I love the opportunities given here, they are endless. I may miss home and may be spending a lot of money but it is all so worth it. I love being able to have this experience and be at an outstanding school.

Overall Experience: I love everything about my school so far. The only thing I regret is randomly selecting my roommate for the housing application. Besides that, I'm having a blast at my school.

Overall Experience: I would go to Arizona State University as it is a diverse campus and people are accepting of others. The community is great. I feel like I can even make my experience even better if I decide to join clubs.

Overall Experience: ASU has been a good overall experience up to this point. There were issues in the beginning with not getting enough support to get started. I am active duty military, so there seemed to be some problems dealing with tuition assistance.

Overall Experience: The teachers and class sizes were great for my learning. The teacher's truly care about their students and their future successes. The campus is beautiful. It provides more than enough resources in order to successfully complete class work. I did not give a full 5/5 because the Chemistry department is lacking in their excellence as compared to the other departments at the college.

Overall Experience: ASU has been great, because the student living experience eases you into the difficulty of adult life. In many respects, it is a "sink or swim" experience. Its taught me financial responsibility and time management, as well as maturing me as a personal. Starting the semester, the temptation to go out and act foolish is very high, as it probably is at other colleges. But being a part of ASU NROTC program has disciplined me and helped me stay focused on academics.

Overall Experience: I really enjoy taking the Health Science online program. The teachers are always available, the lectures help a lot, and the assignments help you study.

Overall Experience: It can be a difficult transition from the more one-on-one feel of community college to a huge university like ASU. All of my classes had at least 100 students which can be intimidating for students who have a hard time in large crowds, especially when they want to ask or answer questions. The work load has also been hard to adjust to. It is hard to stay motivated to learn and understand rather than memorize and recite for exams. This is particularly true for students who work and must support themselves financially. This situation means students must have adequate GPA's to obtain potential scholarships rather than acquiring more and more debt. However, these are probably downsides to the higher education system as a whole rather than this individual university. I do wish they could decrease how much tuition increases every semester, especially when they also charge a mandatory sports fee to fund the sports teams and activities that not every student cares about.

Overall Experience: ASU online is a closer knit community than the Tempe campus (main campus)

Overall Experience: It's definitely different than what I thought it was going to be. I thought making friends was going to be easy due to the fact that theres tens of thousands of students that attend my school but it's actually that very reason that makes it so difficult. Maybe all freshmen feel this way, I don't know, but it definitely feels lonely. Especially since I didn't come to school with any of my close friends. The classes are demanding and the teachers encourage you to do great in class which I like, however it'd be better if the classes weren't so huge. The school spirit here is great though! Whenever there's a home game everyone dons their ASU gear and head to the arena to cheer on our football team and whenever there's an away game people gather around the TV. That's one thing I like, the unity of wanting our athletes to succeed. I wouldn't chose my school again just because this wasn't my first choice to begin with. I didn't get into my dream school and had to hastily pick a new school to attend. If I had to restart everything I would've strived harder in high school to obtain the grades needed to get into my dream school.

Overall Experience: I really enjoy the campus, it's quite nice. I am just a junior in the chemical engineering program and it's really stressful right now because I have to maintain a high GPA to get into the 4+1 program that is offered here. I feel a little bit like I live in the library. I don't think this is everyone's experience, but it is prevalent for most engineering majors. Also, I only had one class this semester that had a true midterm, all of my other classes had two "midterms", and I from the 3rd week in September to the 2nd week of November I had at least one exam every week. It's been really stressful for me, but again, I feel like that has more to do with the major I chose as opposed to ASU itself.

Overall Experience: I have had a great experience here at Arizona State University. Going far from home was the best decision I have ever made. The programs are excellent and the atmosphere of this university is amazing. I've had a great year and a half so far.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
