Campus Food: One healthy food option. Cafeteria food is disgusting and cheap ingredients are used.

Campus Housing: Maintenance rarely respond to work orders. Living conditions in some housing is disgusting. Mcclintock needs to close down; mold in vents.

Off-Campus Dining: Its Arizona, they have anything and everything

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Great in some areas not so great in others.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Food is awful but the dorms are amazing.

4 College Student

Campus Food: The food served at Montgomery College wasn't bad. Just not many options to choose from.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I was only able to agree with my current apartment complex, however, finding other complexes and/or houses became difficult. The closer to campus, the higher the price. I would recommend looking along the light-rail for cheaper units, some of which include furniture and paid utilities.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The foods are mostly chain restaurants however, they do have some unique options such as the Phoenican and the Curry Corner that are very good. I reccommend that you ask someone about the more unique restaurants since they have a better selection of food and it's something new to try. Typically, the pricing is fair, however, the chain restaurants are normally a little cheaper than the unique restaurants.

3 College Junior

Administration: Despite smoking not being allowed on campus, many people still smoke since the policy is not enforced. Also, the walk-only areas are more of a hassle than they are helpful. Since the campus is so large a bike or board is needed for transportation in between classes, since the walk-zones are taking up most of the campus area, it becomes difficult for people to get to class on time.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: I found that in order to go to a "greek" party you need to know someone who is a part of that particular group. However, normally just hanging with friends is the best route.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Filling out the FAFSA was a little bit of a headache and the financial aid office is normally not very much help. The only thing I would recommend is that you bring your facts and organized information to the office if you have questions, and then you might be able to solve the issue.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: There are a lot of options to choose from, however the prices can be a bit steep. It is probably best to just make a lunch, however, it is always a good second option if you forget your packed lunch.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Coming from a non-greek, the greek life is the absolute worst and I think its overrated now.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: This school spends a great deal of money on athletics. As of right now the football stadium is being entirely remodeled and there is a lot of school spirit when the football games come around.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I wish I could live off campus because the apartments are great, the locations are excellent but the availability may not be so great especially when it comes to prices. The off campus apartments are EXPENSIVE.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There really isn't any good student discounts, the off campus food is okay but there is a variety of restaurants so its not so bad.

2 College Sophomore

Administration: I lived in the dorms and even though the floor leaders made it clear they would not tolerate drinking or drugs or any disturbing noises after a specific time, it still happened continuously through out the entire floor. there were always people running or screaming and there was a constant drinking and drug use.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
