Campus Quality: The Gym Is Great – i love the gym, there are always people there. some of the equipment needs to be fixed and the basketball court has a couple weak spots but other than that, it is perfect.

Local Area: Lots to Do – I always say that I feel younger every time I walk around Tempe. It has such a lively and vibrant feel.

Academics: Can Be Challenging If You Want – If you want to be academically challenged then Arizona State University is definitely right for you. Of course there are the "easy classes" but if you truly came to college to learn and expand your mind then there are classes and professors on campus that will greatly benefit you. ASU has a great Honors program and plenty of undergraduate research opportunities. If you're not afraid to seek out challenges you'll fit right in here.

Scholarships: Things Could Be Better – Financial aid screwed me and several other people over. I do not get any assistance from my family, along with my boyfriend and he could not come back this semester. We fend for ourselves and just because our families have bad credit, does not mean that we do too.

Weather: I absolutely love the weather. Never goes below 55 and it is already in the 90s and it is the middle of March. Perfect!

Off-Campus Housing: Apartments Are Pricey! The prices of apartments in my area are ridiculous. You have to go at least 5 miles away from the campus to find something decently priced that college students are able to afford.

Greek Life: everything about it is perfection you wont regret coming

Overall Experience: ASU rocks! everything has been so fun and worth every dollar they steal from you(and that's alot of dollars) but overall its a great school and pretty respected academically too

3 College Freshman

Administration: Pretty strict when it comes to drinking and smoking, unless you get a break and get an awesome Resident Advisor which 7 out of 10 times you will. Watch out for cops when your stumbling back to your dorm drunk they're all over campus

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: The SRC(student recreational center) is awesome just like everything else on campus. There is a huge pool in the back 2 full basketball gyms, great work out areas and racquet ball courts. The libraries on campus to are cool because there's always so many people there someones bound to be studying the same stuff as you. Everything on campus is just so lively, if I could i'd live on campus forever!

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Good Mix – I'm not really caught up in the diversity of campus. I'm honestly oblivious to it.

2 College Junior

Campus Food: An Adult Student – I don't go to the dining areas much. I go to class and go home. I have visited a few, during very busy days. I have found them to be very expensive for a college student, so much so that it seems privitized. I like the fact that they have a wide variety, but it is sad how they don't have affordable alternatives for their students.

5 College Junior

Academics: Interdisciplinary Studies – This is a very complex program. I believe it prepares us for the world better because it teaches you how to incorporate two subjects into one application. There is no specialization, like Nursing or Engineering, but in the professional arena one could work in many different departments because you have learned analytical thinking skills.

Health & Safety: I think that the campus is fairly safe. At night however there isn't a lot of security that I see.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: ASU's good reputation and its ability to excel in sports and extra-curricular activities make it special

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drug Scene – the drug scene is not very visible, however, drinking can be fairly visible, not much pressure, unsure of enforcement

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: At ASU, there are a great deal of cultural events, there are always sports activities to either see or take part in, and the local area attractions include various great food spots.

1 College Freshman

Scholarships: This is the worst part about attending ASU. They offer little to none financial aid for students, and on top of it all they keep raising tuition prices. I'm paying almost as much as an out-of-state student, even though I live in-state; absolutely ridiculous.

College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Guys & Girls – I think everyone is beautiful in their own way, so I don't feel as though I need to separate my interests/personal tastes from everyone else's.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: What Tempe Has to Offer – There are a variety of different places to eat off campus. The only reason I did not give these awesome dining places an A+ is solely for the fact that ASU is too large of a campus to walk from to get food. I feel unsafe walking alone. Besides this, the food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and for the most part it's all cheap and delicious.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: A lot of nice looks downtown, but not much to do other than sporting events. ASU didn't do well in promoting downtown activities.

College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Met my beautiful girlfriend there, after that, I didn't bother checking any girls out.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Campus dining was one of the few good things at ASU.

3 College Junior

Administration: The Tempe campus is right next to Mill Ave. which is the bar scene. The enforcement in that area is not severe. Although, if one were to try to have some people in their dorm it is not happeneing, especially in the downtown campus which has a restriction of one guest.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The cost to live near ASU is somewhat expensive. For example, the lightrail, which is our communities major public transportation system fromt he downtown campus to the tempe campus, is a major hot spot for apartments. Unfortunately, these apartments are somewhat expensive. They go per person and the lowest being $400 a month, not including utilities.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
