Overall Experience: I have created quite the network at ASU through classes, on campus job, clubs, etc. I feel that I have been pretty well prepared for going out into the working world and have a lot of support from faculty and staff at the university to make sure I succeed.

Health & Safety: There are emergency pods all over campus that a student can push to get help. They can also run from one to another and keep pushing the buttons if being chased and the police will track them down. There are also campus security and police all over and around campus all hours of the day.

Campus Housing: Unless you live in Barrett or one of the other new dorms, the quality of the living spaces is pretty poor. Maintenance is decent in most housing, but is pretty poor in Vista. I also wish we had "wet dorms" for those of us over 21 and over to live in. There are also too many required floor meetings and events in my opinion. The CAs are required to do so much by their bosses, as if their bosses forget they are students too.

Greek Life: I am personally not a part of Greek life on campus, instead I joined honors societies. Greek life requires too many non-academic commitments and money to join, so I chose not to. I also feel that most sororities are very cliquey and have a lot of fake annoying people in them. Not that all girls in Greek life are that way because I have a lot of great friends who are in Greek life, but many tend to be.

Overall Experience: I have had so many opportunities at my school with my on campus job, career fairs to find an internship and I have made many great friends through my classes and on campus living. If I could do it all over again I would choose ASU all over again because I cannot imagine my life without all of the opportunities I have had here.

Athletics: We have a pretty great athletic department that gets students really involved and engaged in the sports offered at the university.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: ASU is great, overall. Again, however very expensive.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have not been involved too much with the employment factor of ASU, however, I have heard good things.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: The safety is great, although a few changes could be made to take additional precautions

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: The campus is great, however, it is very costly and everything is high priced even parking.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: The greek life is great and provides various resources.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It is a great school, although very expensive for a working young invincible with no parent support.

4 College Senior

Athletics: The school is very sports orientated, and there is a lot of school spirit involved.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My professors have been very accommodating

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: ASU has lots of connections and is great when searching for a job

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Wish they would clean the stairwells more often.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life is very interesting

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've really enjoyed my experience here

Health & Safety: I've never felt scared to be on campus alone. I walk around at night and there aren't any sketchy people. The officers patrol the area.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There have been a few professors that are a little to strict and don't allow me to be fully expressive. The art classrooms are small and shabby. The lighting is extremely poor and depressing. Mostly everything is old and run down.

Greek Life: I absolutely hate Greek life. Everyone is Greek life is an asshole and I don't ever want to associate myself with any Greek life. I don't condone any of their behavior nor do I wish to think about it.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I honestly have no idea. I am not involved in sports nor do I care about them. I think sports are stupid.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I enjoy going to class, although, sometimes I feel that the teachers grade to harshly and don't allow me to express myself (being an art student).

3 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: It is scary after 6pm downtown campus I think.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: So far I like the teachers and classes.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
