Athletics: ASU fans for sports are dedicated, supporting, and proud because of the great teams associated with the school

5 College Junior

Transportation: Flash System – Here at Arizona State University, the transport system is amazing. Starting from 6:00 AM till 1:00 AM there is a nonstop bus service. The buses circle the campus and its free for all the students to get on. This helps students get from one side of campus to another, or to parking. There is also the City Bus system that runs right along the main street of campus. So people customed to taking the City Bus, can be dropped off right at school. Also there is a lightrail system. If you come from parts that dont have the city bus, then the lightrail can also drop you off at the university.

Party Scene: I dont party much, being a student of engineering, however i hear that there are an abundance of exciting clubs and activities after dark, here at Arizona State University.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Girls Hang Out – Everyday here at Arizona State University, without fail, you will see girls who dont cover up and are extremly revealing. Yes they are attractive, and it is hot here in the desert, however it can be quite distracting to the male students.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Fear the Fork – The Sun Devils love our varsity football team. The rivalry between Arizona State and University of Arizona is the best game of the season by far. With our new uniforms and our blacked out student section, everyone will fear the fork!

5 College Senior

Guys & Girls: The People Are Hotter Than the Weather – At Arizona State, we are known for our beautiful people. There are so many people on campus all the time, you're sure to meet somewhere anywhere you turn.

3 College Senior

Technology: At Arizona State, it is not necessary, but definitely helpful to have a personal computer for use during class. The majority of the professors I have post all of their lectures online in an effort to cut down on paper usage. All announcements and assignments are posted online so it makes life a lot easier to have your own computer to bring class, however, there are multiple computer labs and computers in the libraries with printing options and wifi throughout campus.

4 College Freshman

Administration: It's Alright, I Don't Mind Them. There aren't many policies, that can prevent the students from having fun or doing well in school.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: They're Everywhere – There are security officers everywhere. So I feel safe at all times. And the emergency phones are at every corner, so there's an easy access.

4 College Freshman

Technology: I've never had to use the college computers, but most people seem okay with them. I have my own printer which gives me the access to print what I want when I want. The wireless access is great, it remembers a computer so that you won't have to be logging in at all times.

3 Recent Alumnus

Majors: Japanese major is ok. Lots of homework though and impossible to improve unless you study abroad. Most people I know with the same major end up getting jobs to teach English in Japan or have hopes of teaching or living in Japan.

3 Recent Alumnus

Parking: Cheapest permit is around $200 and that permit is for lot 59 north which is pretty far from campus. Not a bad walk, takes about 15-20 minutes to get to class from lot 59 north which is the same time to wait and take the campus bus. Getting towed is crazy expensive. Having a car is necessary but there are local buses you can take if you don't mind the wait. Parking is hard to find when events are held and hard to get out of parking lots after events, like basketball games.

3 Recent Alumnus

Local Area: Lots of bars and shops on Mill Ave at the edge of the main campus. More clubs and such are located not that far from campus in Old Town Scottsdale as well. Many shops and restaurants near campus offer discounts with your ASU student ID card.

Parking: Parking permits are expensive, even lot 59, the farthest and cheapest of all parking lots. Some lots are pay to park at the cost of two dollars an hour. It's best to ride a bike or catch a bus.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: Very Convient – Theres always a way to get where you need to. So many options!

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: VERY SAFE – Its very safe in Tempe..there are on campus police 24/7

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: Theres always something to do! There are four campuses so the possibilities are endless.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Dining Halls – Menus have variety but not enough variety still little choices and many items on menus are too expensive

2 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Personal Safety – If your not with people around you it's possible that tou won't be safe. But they do try campus police stroll by ever so-so time.

3 College Freshman

Weather: the weather is hard to go through because of the hot weather in summer times. the exaustion creates hard ways for students to focus when going to class. and performance with hygine is affected as well.

4 College Freshman

Parking: good show of parking locations, and the amount of parking places in the campus, and other places in the on campus locations

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Housing Living Style – the people in the housing give alot of opportunity to socialize with each other. this creates freshmen to be more active than living in their rooms everyday.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: The transportation at ASU is very convenient. The cost is very low and it is surprising beneficial.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: ASU is a diverse school with many athletic men and woman. The teamwork they put into the event, is just outstanding.

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: Arizona State University is an outstanding environment. Many students of all ethnicity get along extremely well. Many of them invite practically anyone all shapes and sizes to join in on all sorts of activities.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
