4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: overall, Arizona State University is a great school with so much to offer. Since ASU has so many students it is hard being in huge classes for most of the general subjects, however, as you continue your education the classes do get smaller. What makes ASU unique is its research opportunity. There is a ton of research options for all majors.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: so far had good professors

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I see many oncampus fairs

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: depends on every situation. it's scary

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: difficult to understand with a bad prof

4 College Junior

Academics: Endless possibilities, always an advisor to talk to or other students willing to help. Sometimes the work load is excessive especially with online classes but they're accelerated so it's understandable. The class sizes can be a bit large sometimes and may seem intimidating

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: There's ample safe zones, patrol cars, uniformed officers, bike units, and other security staff whose presence is known and felt all around campus

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Best honors classes. Barett campus experience is rewarding and worthwhile.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: I feel very safe on campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My recent experience with a teacher teaching the topic of my major was horrible. Even though he has a doctorate, he was not a competent teacher, never had a set or determined lesson plan, and was bad at communicating his meaning and getting a point across. It was difficult to stay interested or follow along but besides him I've had otherwise good experiences

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is a well known and respected university anywhere you go in this state as well as others. There are always resources to help on campus and off

5 College Junior

Party Scene: There's so much to do!

5 College Junior

Party Scene: Sun Devils parties are the best!

4 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone seems to be very accepting of one another despite the differences we may have.

5 College Junior

Academics: I am very pleased with the classes offered and work load given.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Prefessors at ASU give constructive feedback in a timely manner and answer questions pertaining to the subject at hand quickly.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I made the international honors society at ASU and I'm very confident I will find a job even before graduating.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: I love the alerts sent to my phone whenever there is something goin on at the campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus but I personally know a few that do. They love the campus environment and housing.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is great on campus and off.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Our school is very well known across the country for our althetic program.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: It depends on where you live. The newer dorms are obviously nicer than the older ones but since all freshman are required to live on campus with their major, you don't get much of a choice.

Greek Life: I rushed a sorority and loved the process. I had a lot of fun and it was a great way to get a feel for the school since I was a transfer. I ended up dropping because of my schedule and a sorority at ASU is like a part time job.

3 Recent Alumnus

Drug Safety: I know a ton of people who use drugs and alcohol. They are both very prominent at ASU.

Overall Experience: I liked my major courses a lot. The teachers were great. The general classes were all pretty terrible; but my major made up for it.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
