Guys & Girls: The guys here are attractive, especially the ones in greek life, and very big on partying. It seems like the most attractive guys realize early on that they should be in Greek life, and the ones that don't join right away figure it out eventually. The girls here are quite shallow (most of the girls who go to frat parties are also greek) and the sorority girls (myself included HAH) are much more likely to hookup with a fellow Greek. Don't expect to find a relationship though, the whole school is very casual and hookup oriented.

The girls here are overall attractive, regardless of Greek life. This is because girls don't need to be Greek to get in to parties, they just need to be hot, and since it's Arizona "no fat or ugly girl wants to walk around in a tank top and shorts all year." The words of a friend of mine. This is a good think too because as a whole, people here are very into appearances. You have to accept that about the people here if you want to get anywhere. Everyone is hot and everyone sucks basically. If you find a hot, nonsucky person, hold on to them at least somewhat because they're rare.

Also, tip for guys. Pay attention to how a girl is around other girls. Almost all girls act like angels around guys, so if she's a bitch to her girls, go for a one and done. You don't want that crazy around you.

Athletics: Depending on the department, the athletics can go either way. Overall, pretty good though.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: FAIL. There's limited parking, except Lot 59 which is super far from everything on campus, and to top it off it's super expensive no matter where you park.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: In August it can be pretty hot, but other than that the weather is beautiful!

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The University isn't too strict, and the campus security is pretty chill.

4 College Senior

Majors: If I were to do my Fine Arts degree all over again, I would add in a degree of Digital Culture as a minor. I am going to apply my degree towards a design career for video games. I have a concern getting noticed in the game design field, but I think I have a good idea about how to approach it.

4 College Senior

Majors: I'm in the Art college, as a Fine Arts major, and the learning environment is pretty good, with a lot of opportunities. The teachers have their own ways of teaching and for the most part are very knowledgeable. A good experience overall, I'd say.

3 College Senior

Majors: Applying for the Herberger Art College is decently easy to do. You just have to have an idea of the work needed. Make sure you have all of the dates on hand (and look early!), get all the paperwork in, and talk to an adviser about having an excellent portfolio.

1 College Sophomore

Administration: The police are only interested in policing and citing students instead of protecting them from some of the real dangers that present themselves in Tempe.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The boys are attractive but most of them are in feats not looking for commitment and the rest are married and fully committed. While most girls are in sororities and looking for fun, not a lot are very nice nor approachable.

Off-Campus Housing: They get more strict since you do not live on campus.

3 College Freshman

Technology: The computers here at ASU are open but you have to wait 10 minutes just to get stuff printed out

3 College Freshman

Weather: It is Hot here in the summer time. But in the winter it is nice most of the time but it can get very cold here

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: You find all kinds of Guys at ASU. All over the country. The Girls here are hit and friendly and like to party

Academics: Some of the professors are great and really care about helping you pass. Pay attention to rate my professor to find these professors.

Academics: I feel like going here gets you no where. Everyone knows this school as a party school. So you will be known as the employee who graduated from a party school, do you really want that?

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Living on campus is convient for getting to class, but it isn't always the best. The dorms are gross and small. They smell funny. The RA's don't do anythign about your neighbors that play lud music until 4am.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Most of the year the weather is nice because we have relatively mild winters but summer is terrible. School starts in August when it is still 115 and torturous.

Majors: It is a good program and I think I would probably do it again. My goal is to be an elementary school teacher and my only concern about finding a job is being able to work at a school that I want to be at.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I am in the education field and I do enjoy the program but I just feel like there is not much freedom in the classes that you are allowed to choose.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I feel hassayampa is really safe, the locks and card swiping truly stops ransoms from getting into the dorms. It's a nice new dorm building which has study rooms and lounges for all your needs.

Party Scene: I feel there is stuff to do , a lot of frat parties but I don't feel comfortable with all those strange people. The hot spots are bars and those are scary, overall it's just kind off scary to go out.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking on campus is sometimes hectic. At times there are hardly any spaces so make sure to get to campus a little earlier than your class starts. As long as you have a parking pass you should be fine, but if you don't expect tickets because ASU likes to give out tickets.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Living on campus is an adventure in its self. The people make the experience what it is versus the actual living . The best dorms are Hassy or Sonora for incoming freshmen. There are markets on campus and many places that are close by to go to.

Campus Food: Dining hall food is edible, but not amazing. The MU has some options of food to eat, but you get over these options after a while.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
