College Freshman

Majors: I haven't had an internship yet.

5 College Freshman

Majors: W.P Carey is the best!

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus.

Greek Life: On social media, non-Greek life students seem to put down Greek life but it might be in spite of jealousy or envy. I personally don't mind them but I would never be in a sorority. My roommate is in one and she's awesome. Greek life students can choose to live in specific housing just for them but it's a little more expensive.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was able to score a scholarship but I am always looking for new ways to help take some load off my family's financial burdens.

Administration: ASU is big on academic integrity, no cheating is tolerated. People complain about police because they like to party, but I think as long as you're abiding by the law, you're a-okay. I wish access to parking was easier because it'd be very convenient for me to park on campus and go to the mall, dentist appointments, etc. if I didn't have to pay so much to leave it here. They are started to crack down on attendance policies which is good.

Off-Campus Dining: It can be costly for broke college students such as myself. I have some money in my pocket, but I use it for necessities. I wish discounts were advertised more so I know where to go and when to save a few extra bucks. However, the quality is pretty good when I do happen to go out to eat with friends.

Party Scene: There is always a party going on! You can find multiple parties any night of the week.

Majors: I love this program! The workload is appropriate and all of the professors that I have encountered hVe been nice and easy to communicate with. I also have a mentor that checks in quite often!

Scholarships: Barely any scholarships available for online students. I haven't been able to get one scholarship since transferring to ASU.

Greek Life: I don't know much other than they party a lot.

Off-Campus Housing: I lived off campus for five months and had a great experience. The landlord was very friendly and attentive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The neighborhood was quiet and charming and a nice walk to campus and close to a grocery store and shopping. The on-site laundry was always accessible and I never had a problem with other tenants. I really enjoyed my off-campus housing experience.

Greek Life: I only Greek's based on relationships. I think that it is good, because most are happy. They do not like the price, but that comes with the situation. They throw great parties and allow all times of individuals to join. It adds to the community at the university.

Athletics: The club sports create opportunity for some individuals who would still like that "Last Shot".

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
