Overall Experience: While I'm an online student, I have to say that my experience with ASU has been awesome and I feel that I'm getting the best education I can get. I'm able to choose from a variety of different subjects that are very interesting and engaging.

Overall Experience: ASU has been a fantastic way for me to pursue my interests, but also work at the same time. ASU Online is one of the best online programs out there and makes life so much easier! The classes are always interesting, and although some of the TA's can be annoying, the professors truly want you to succeed.

Health & Safety: I haven't really heard of really any crime on campus, except that one time someone threatened to shoot people who were making fun of him.

Overall Experience: There are a lot of jobs i could personally get with my degree, but with a lot of degrees you can't do a lot with them.

Campus Housing: Manzanita Hall is one of the nicest on campus, the staff are really nice, and the building has lots of stuff to do and the dining hall is attached.

Greek Life: The sororities are okay, and there's some really good ones on campus.

Athletics: The football games are very fun and are attended by a lot of students. All other sports games are okay but not as fun to go to or attendance as high as football. Also you never really know when the other sports have games.

Overall Experience: It's a very good school, there's lots of opportunities for students success in and outside of the classroom.

Health & Safety: There are safety precautions; however, danger is at times unavoidable.

Overall Experience: There will be jobs for the science nerds and the business daddy's boys. Other than that unemployed.

Campus Housing: Campus housing is based on your major. Special treatment for the business school. Surprising? Not in the least.

Greek Life: They are a complete hindrance. Mean and homogenous.

Athletics: The athletes are the stars once again. Woo.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: For what it is worth, the college is exactly what you pay for.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall I can say that the courses and professors are pretty good. The professors love what they do and what they teach. The class sizes are somewhat of a mix, you can have a big lecture hall or a small class of about 30 students if you choose to.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: As for the student career prospects and the value of the degree in school, but say it's pretty good to providing students with a lot of scholarship and internship opportunities, and the advisers and employers are eager to help students pursue their career.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The security and health services are OK. The urgent care on campus is operated with doctors and medical equipment similar to a small regular hospital. The police stations are OK on campus, they have police notified machines on every point of the campers to notify the campus police when there's an emergency.

Campus Housing: Housing was great. When you're living on campus you're close to everything. But the downside is that the meal plans were expensive.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The application process was simple and a bit lenient when it came to choosing applicants for their school. I was grateful for this because Arizona State was a last resort school so I could finish my degree.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Overall I can say Arizona State is a good school and he activities and sports keep students motivated to pursue their desired major.

Health & Safety: When you have a ginormous school, problems are going to look bigger than they do at tiny schools. But the truth of the matter is that sexual assault is a major problem everywhere. I (female) personally feel very safe on campus; there are call boxes everywhere in case of emergency and police actively patrol the area. The president is actively working on eliminating the problem of sexual assault at least at ASU, which I think is admirable and fantastic.

Overall Experience: I love it here. It's really what you make of it. Seek out what you love. With 80,000 students there with you, you will find your niche. It's been great to try totally new things, like canyoneering or tango. It's great to meet new people because everyone is so diverse. It's beyond easy to jump-start your career here. Research is pretty easy to get into, extracurriculars are always looking for new leaders (I even started my own org with little difficulty), every nationality and religiosity and belief system and way of life finds its piece here in the great puzzle of university. My main con is the heat, which is not as great as it always seems.

Overall Experience: I hate that we are considered a party school when I have had some of the most accelerating opportunities here. My professors are leading the way in totally new fields, my PI's are challenging me to crank out research publications, my colleagues have helped me get into international conferences and other amazing opportunities. If there is a will here, there is a way, just remember that no one is going to do all the hard work for you.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
