Overall Experience: ASU is "known" for its engineering school, as well as its business school. I am currently in engineering, and have learned quite a bit, I feel. However, I wish their methods of obtaining a degree were more like that to a trade school, as many of our core-classes don't occur until later in our undergraduate degree. This makes it harder to learn the technical skills needed to land a job in the field you desire. However, multiple career weeks/fairs are held on campus each semester, with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge one needs to help them land that aforementioned job.

Drug Safety: The school does a great job at warning students about the effects of drug and alcohol use. The school takes this topic very serious and requires all students to complete a community care act where we are taught and tested on information about the effects substances and how to help those who may be struggling with them.

Overall Experience: I really appreciate my professors, they are both currently Therapist, and they offer a lot of knowledge from their first-hand experience as therapist. They are also excited to teach us about the mental health field, and often encourage us to ask questions and come to them for help. I also appreciate how each class I have taken, is directly related to the career I am going into.

Overall Experience: Arizona State University does a great job at preparing students for the future. They offer seminars and workshops on how to building amazing resumes, and they offer career fairs to help students get connected with hundreds of jobs around the U.S. Each Academic department also does a great job with connecting students to internships, to get experience in their field of study.

Health & Safety: Crime does happen because it happens everywhere. However, the campus police, city police, and school officials do a great job at making sure people are safe. The school sends out alerts via phone, and email whenever there is any potential risk to the students, and people on campus. The school also lets people on and off campus know when it is safe to come back to certain areas on campus, once the police have confirmed it is safe to do so.

Campus Housing: There are many housing options on and off-campus. Arizona State has partnered up with many off-campus apartments/houses to help student have easy access to housing options. The areas to live in are also student friendly.

Overall Experience: I am currently enrolled in a Graduate Master's program for Marriage and Family Therapy, and I love it! I am learning so much about the field of mental health, and I have also obtained an unpaid internship to help me receive my accreditation hours for when I apply to get my Marriage and Family Therapy License. The school also holds careers fairs every year to help students like me who are graduating soon, and need access to the job market.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
