Athletics: I am already signed up for the spirit group. can't wait till school starts in the fall

5 College Student

Overall Experience: I am an incoming freshman and so far everyone has been amazing, helpful and great!

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I know people from Greek houses but you don't know if they are just by looking at them and they do not treat you different.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics at ASU are very important and a lot of students get involved one way or another with them. Even students like me that don't practice any sport we go to support the teams.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school is great and it is huge, however in relation to my field of study that is Film, the school is mostly focused in theater productions and that is not encouraging for Film students like me.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I'm not a part of it, but most the people I've met are. They really don't seem any different than the people who aren't involved.

Athletics: I use the gym a lot. I love that there are so many things to do there, and that it is open to all students and faculty for free.

Overall Experience: I've never had any issues at Arizona State. The students are nice, the staff are helpful and there are plenty of ways to be involved on campus should you choose to do so.

Athletics: Though personally not a sports fan, during my orientation the very first person to talk to me enthusiastically approached me about sports at ASU. He spoke about the facebook group, the stadium, and the school spirit associated with ASU sports. From that I can assume that the sports at ASU is at the very least quite good and entertaining.

Overall Experience: If this is your dream school then you will love it! Everyone I know that really wanted to go here loves it and thinks it's heaven on Earth. I've realized that with students, like myself, that didn't really want to go here in the first place have a really hard time fitting in and enjoying ASU. If you aren't a big partier, there's honestly not much to do outside of school for fun.

Campus Housing: This obviously depends in which building you live in. Barrett, Hassyampa, Manzy are all pretty nice because they are newer. I'm not too sure about the other ones but I know for a fact these three are the nicest. In these you either have a shared suite bathroom or your own personal bathroom so thats a plus! Only thing about Hassy dorms is that they dont have any lighting in their rooms so you have to bring your own lamps or else your room will be pitch black at night.

Health & Safety: When it comes to sexual assualt or people being drugged unwillingly I have only heard it happening at Frat parties. There are some Frats that are "known" for spiking drinks and most girls stay away from them. In my first 6 weeks of attending ASU my freshman year I knew of 6 people that were roofied (they were all okay except 1). My advice, don't go to a Frat party alone and always look out for your drinks and your friends. When these things happen at Frats no one really reports them.

Overall Experience: For job/internship prospects and recruitment on campus I feel like only Business Majors are getting these opportunities. I've never seen any other major that gets the kind of attention as Business Majors and it's pretty sad. They promote internships the most but for my major, Biomedical Science, you don't hear anything for internships outside of school.

Greek Life: Greek life is interesting at ASU. A lot of GDI's view Greeks as cliquey, superficial, and materialistic. Not every Greek is that way but most are. People who are involved in Greek life it seems like they're whole life is taken over by Greek life.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: They provide a lot of tutoring opportunities, professors try to help students in any way.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: They have a great career services department.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors are great, and class sizes are huge.

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: Security is very resourceful, and helpful.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: DA's are very helpful and resourceful.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: Greek life is not as emphasized as other campus organizations.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Lot's of involvement and a very spirited school.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: It is a great school with an easy admissions process.

3 College Junior

Academics: The workload is decent, some weeks it feels excessive but I guess it's normal

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've only just transferred to this college and attended one semester online, but so far I enjoy it.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
