3 College Sophomore

Administration: The officers tend to always be there at the right moment, somewhat. When they are there they do a great job handling the situation.

3 College Student

Campus Quality: the staff there are very helpful but on the same note very rude

5 College Student

Local Area: ASU is in the center of Phoenix and there is a lot to do up there

3 College Student

Drug Safety: the drug life on ASU is noticable if you are looking for it. yes a lot of people do them but its not so many people to where they get your attention

4 College Junior

Academics: Arizona State University is a great school all in all

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They are okay, but a lot of work and having to deal with the waiting line sucks

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The football games are popular but they need to work on getting all the students together so that we aren't all spread out. This would make the atmosphere much more enjoyable. The other sports aren't so great and attendance isn't very high.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The drug scene doesn't seem to be as huge here as alcohol. However I don't think it's smart that ASU is a "dry" campus because it just makes people want to get a hold of it that much more.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: There is a lot of available parking options, however it's so unbelievably expensive to get a parking pass for a semester. Also, the meters are completely unreasonable and charge way to much for a short amount of time.

2 College Freshman

Technology: The computers are great and there are a lot of them, but I rarely use them because I have a laptop. the reason I give this a C is because there is only one place, outside of having your own printer, where you can print for free on campus.

4 College Freshman

Majors: It is so much fun, so far, and the professors great. There is always somewhere or someone to got to for help.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: Tempe has a great relationship with the University.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: I have not received any scholarships from ASU. There are little that apply to me. We are not informed of any scholarship opportunities.

1 College Senior

Majors: I was a research assistant for a psychology program. I didnt get any experience at all. i was very disappointed with the class/internship.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: There are a lot of homeless people that roam the campus and sometimes go into the buildings.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: People from all over the world come to study at ASU and I personally have seen a great number of Asian and Middle Eastern students here, as well as Northern and Eastern European students. They're all very nice and very grateful to be in America.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: ASU has TONS of school spirit, especially during football season. Although ASU's football team has been on a bit of a down-turn lately, there is always great attendance and spirit at games!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Tons of places in the Tempe area offer student discounts, which is very helpful. There is also great cultural diversity in food around ASU because of the great diversity of its students. Convenience is also prevalent, even in sit-down restaurants.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not in Greek like and for the most part I recognize that the organizations on campus do good work for the community. I just do not personally identify or like most of the people that I know who are involved in Greek Life.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: The one policy that I run into constantly as an online student is the Academic Honesty Policy. They adhere strictly to it and there is no room for dishonesty.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Most of the year, the weather in Tempe is great. Not TOO cold in the winter, and fabulous in the fall and spring (like right now in mid to late April). The summers are brutal at times, but unless you're taking summer classes, it's not too terrible.

4 College Freshman

Administration: There are good policies in place to guide students' academic and behavioral careers.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I transferred from another school and all of the advisors that I have dealt with have been great. I told them why I was transferring and what my educational goals were and within a week, I was attending class.

5 College Sophomore

Administration: There is strict enforcement of dorm rules. The campus police are strict about noise control and underage drinking. If there is loud noise and a neighbor complains, you are likely to get busted if you are drinking or have alcohol in your room,

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I am enjoying the engineering program and would chose the same program a second time around. My career goals are to find a job in the environmental industry and also to work on solutions to our current gas problem (e.g. find alternatives to gasoline). I do not have any concerns about finding a job in chemical engineering.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
