Majors: I'm pursuing a LLM (Master of Laws) program and ASU really doesn't help with me with my program for internships. It's mostly catered to JD students. ASU needs to inform the corporations/agencies/companies that LLM is an option to select from so we aren't looked over. I enrolled in this program to get exposure to the legal community in AZ and not much has happened in this regard. Very disappointing!! Plus scholarships are non-existent for LLMs as well.

Party Scene: ASU is known as a party school simply because there is ALWAYS some sort of event taking place you can attend and meet new people at.

Academics: Thanks to online sources such as RateMyProfessors.com, it's easy to look up professors and find out how they run their class prior to signing up for their course. There are certain subjects in which there lacks a broad range of teachers teaching a particular subject, however the website is overall very helpful and recommended.

Academics: I am currently switching to Computer Science and therefore taking classes towards this major. I expect the workload to be somewhat heavy, but not overwhelming if one learns how to manage their time.

Academics: I have had a very difficult time trying to find out needed information regarding scholarships and financial aid. My advisor and the office of financial aid gave me wrong information that has put my scholarship at risk.

Academics: I sometimes find myself weighing the cost vs value of my education. Is the cost, and student loan, worth the education I am receiving?

Party Scene: I live off campus, so finding nightlife is difficult. However, when I hear about it... ASU seems very wild and somewhat dangerous. A lot of people seem to get in trouble and several students have died.

Diversity: ASU is an incredible diverse school. In fact the school does a very good job at mixing up the roommates for the student in the dorms.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many options to choose from. From fast food to Thai, Mexican and Chinese food, they are all located near school within walking distance from the campus. Hawaiian BBQ is one of my favorite, it's korean food but the owners are from Hawaii so the restaurant is Hawaiian BBQ xD.

Weather: It does not snow and rarely rains here. Everyday is sunny and warm even in winter time. I love weather in AZ even though summer is a bit too hot to walk on campus. But I would rather be hot than cold and only four months of summer is bearable compared to snowy winter!!

Athletics: Football is very big at ASU and it is very fun! We also have very good workout center.

Academics: I am attending Arizona State University for their history programs. So far some of the courses are very interesting and helpful, where others are very dull and repetitive.

Scholarships: I was unable to find any scholarships provided by Arizona State University.

Academics: Some of the classes are phenomenal with a great set up and good instructors. However, other courses are redundant, poorly set up, and have very monotonous instruction.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
