5 College Sophomore

Weather: I LOVE THE WEATHER. POOLS EVERYWHERE TOO

Guys & Girls: Girls are pretty slutty. Especially sorority girls. But you find where you fit in, so it really doesn't matter. Frat guys are kinda really douchey. But like I said before, it's all about what you like.

Campus Quality: Football games are awesome! Such a great experience and it's so easy to meet new people.

Campus Quality: ASU is seriously amazing. The weather is always nice (besides the heat wave at the beginning of the year), there are friendly people, classes aren't too demanding, but you still get a great education. I wouldn't imagine myself having this much fun anywhere else.

Majors: I havent had an internship

Off-Campus Dining: About 3 Thai restaurants within walking distance, Chuck box within walking distance (best burgers ever and but chicken sandwich isn't bad, Cane's, Buffalo wild Wings, taco bell, Jimmy John's, etc.

Overall Experience: They lie to you about job prospects for majors on their website. Great number of student organizations but hard on Greeks. Hard to get around without a car. Not many grocery stores within walking distance. ASU really wants your money. Dorms are old. Best choice I made here was joining a sorority.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: They try to give options to all different types of people.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Most students attend football and basketball games. If you're not at the game, there isn't much else going on. Tempe kinda shuts down when there is a football game. Everyone goes to them. Lots of school spirit. Students love their school. Fitness center is excellent. Lots of opportunities to play intramural sports. We have just about every sport you could imagine, including a sailing club and a horseback riding club

3 College Senior

Majors: It is kind of boring and not a lot of job opportunities.

3 College Senior

Majors: I would chose a different major if I could start over. I feel like ASU likes to tell you that there are a lot of jobs in the field to get you to pay them money and be in the program.

Parking: Parking is very expensive and they will tow you if you park in the wrong place at the wrong time. The will also give you expensive tickets that go up in price with each one. You really need a car to go to this school. Public transportation is a nightmare.

3 College Senior

Party Scene: There is only one eighteen-plus club and it is decently far from campus. Parties aren't that hard to find but you need to live on campus to get to them or hear about them most of the time. There are taxis to get to Mill Ave but it's about a half-time walk from the south side of campus. On the north side of campus, it is in your backyard, not a far walk at all. Old Town Scottsdale, the other bar scene, is much farther away and you either need a $50 cab ride or someone to drive you there.

Campus Quality: There are campus events going on all the time. The residential hall association always has events with free stuff and free food. The new fitness center is top-notch. There are many libraries available. If one is busy you can go to another one. Hayden is the favorite. ASU has traditions like the black-out football game in which all students wear black, lantern walk, the homecoming parade, and fall welcome events like Tiki luau and Fall welcome concert.

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: ASU is always creating new majors and degree programs. I have seen at least ten new programs since I transferred here a year and a half ago. It is a very innovative and growing school. There are also many clubs and organizations and a large number of students so it isn't hard to make friends and fins your niche. ASU is also a top college for getting a job because employers believe ASU students develop the most practical, job-related skills from a degree from ASU. That is an award that I saw hanging on the wall in the career center.

3 College Senior

Transportation: This is really good on-campus transportation but off-campus is poor. Look into the orbit buses, flash buses, and light rail.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Police are always available, ASU has a safety escort service if you are walking alone at night, and there isn't much crime on campus.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
