3 College Junior

Party Scene: Could be better. Underage students get too crazy

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: There are alerts sent out to everyone when there is anything suspicious going on. Safety is a very important at ASU. This is one thing I really like about ASU, I am always updated on what is going on and they make sure people know what areas to steer clear from.

3 College Junior

Administration: The school is trying to crack down on a lot of things to make it a safer environment. The students aren't allowed to drink in the dorms and they are very serious about this. If the student is caught they can be expelled and they will get an MIC as well.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I am living in a house next year and it is a perfect distance from campus just a short bike ride away. The price is so much better than the on-campus living situations because it is a lot cheaper and you get more for your money.

4 College Junior

Academics: My professors are wonderful and make the subjects interesting. They are helpful and resourceful. They always make time for their students. I have had a few teachers I didn't like very much, but I still managed to get through the course with a decent grade.

5 College Junior

Academics: Our nursing program is one of the greatest. The resources they offer is outstanding. The professors are amazing and it is just an overall outstanding program.

Party Scene: There is never a night that you won't be able to find something to do at ASU. Whether it is bars and clubs at Mill or a house party going on, it is almost impossible to not have anything to do. ASU is one of the biggest party schools in the Nation, and there is a reason for that.

5 College Junior

Local Area: ASU is located in Tempe, AZ and there are a lot of community colleges near by. These people interact with ASU students because they usually plan on transferring to ASU eventually. There is a light rail for transportation along with busses that run all the time. Downtown phoenix has Chase field, and there is an ASU campus in downtown phoenix as well. There is a lot of things to do, especially on Mill if you like bars and clubs and stuff like that.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot of variety of foods off campus. They are close by and within walking distance. Also, the light rail can take you just about anywhere if you don't like those options.

5 College Junior

Athletics: ASU gets crazy for football. It is one of the greatest parts of my college experience. Students camp out for front row and the games are hype. I love how involved everyone gets for the sports. A lot of people get involved in intramural sports as well and they all go and support their friends or fraternities/sororities when they play.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: The school has a lot of different food options. There is not only just the dining hall, but there is a lot of different fast foods and sandwich shops available for students. These places accept M&G.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: Every facility I have used at ASU is great. The sports facilities and the library are wonderful. Theres a lot of on campus events and activities etc. ASU has great student culture and it is accommodated for almost anything.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The guys at our school are above average when it comes to looks. However, I would never date a guy from ASU because most of them are too caught up in partying and are pretty stuck up. I didn't rush a sorority, so it seems like if you aren't a part of greek life then you aren't accepted.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: I did not notice diversity. There were not any challenges on campus. It's college, no one seemed to care who you were or what you looked like.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Downtown Phoenix campus does not have as much options as the Tempe campus. We did have the AZ center that has several places to eat though. I did not like that there were not any student discounts. The convenience was great. Each place was close to my dorms, Taylor Place.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I plan to have an internship by my junior year. I would like to have one to have experience in the medical field. I am planning to intern at the Mayo Clinic.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I like my program. I hate that I am completing general studies though. I am excited for junior and senior year. I am excited to complete all my science courses! I would complete it over again. My career goals are to become a pediatrician. I love children!

4 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: ASU has a very diverse group of students and the interests. Some students are either super "nerdy" or somebody that doesn't care at all. Most students seem to dress appropriately.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: I haven't lived on campus but from what I've heard from students that lived on campus is that it is "okay." I've seen one room and it feels cramped. They seem to group students according to their majors. Also, ASU tries to give students something to do on campus by doing events such as sports, movies, etc.

Drug Safety: I rarely encounter somebody that has a drug problem on campus. Unless they are very good at hiding it. Alcohol though is quite apparent.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Food: There are numerous options for students to choose from. Such as fast food to healthy eating. The prices are pretty reasonable. There are stores on-campus as well. There are a lot of coffee places as well.

4 Recent Alumnus

Party Scene: With ASU being near Mill Avenue, there is always a party going on. Greek life is a pretty active participant to events as well.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Quality: ASU has a pretty great student life on campus. Though I feel like it is mostly applicable to greek life. They seem to dominate that are. The library hours are great, specially in Hayden. The athletic events are very apparent, specifically football and basketball.

Campus Quality: I think the way ASU takes care of their veteran students is one of the major factors that sets them apart from other schools. They have a centralized area for veterans to go to, such as the Pat Tillman Veterans Center. They are an active participant of anything related to Pat Tillman, such as Pat's Run, Pat Tillman Military Scholars, and Pat Tillman Leadership to Action program.

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: I lived off campus for all of my 4 years in college. It is quite pricey to live off campus, specially if you choose to live near campus. There are tons of parties in most of the housing near the campus, which is irritating. Parking can be a pain sometimes, unless you have your own designated parking. In terms of feeling safe where I live, it is not that bad either. I feel that there is a strong presence of the police force in my area.
