4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I'll be starting this fall as a male dental hygiene student at Argosy University. I realize that I'm going to be the minority one which most of the students are going to be females. I have heard the program is one the best in the state of Minnesota and I very proud to be accepted especially from a large group of potential applicants. I'm very excited to get started this Fall but, I know the workload and curriculum is going to be very heavy and demanding. It's going to be time consuming which I have to balance my time to see my three sons every other weekend and do my studies. It's not going to be easy but, I like the challenge. So far, I have met the department head of the program and she seems to be very supportive and understands that I'm an older adult and I'm looking forward to a new change in my career. Also, I'm very impressed with the library since it has a lot of resources which makes it easier to accomplished my studies.

Academic Experience: Last Fall, I had to take one class at Argosy University to finish my prerequisites for the dental hygiene program. All of my prerequisites which I have taken from different colleges have transferred over without any problems. I have a very high GPA and I'm looking forward to get started into the dental hygiene program. The class I took last Fall was an on line course which I didn't get to know the professor personally but, I find the professor was very fair about grading the papers and willing to give students extra time to finished their papers. Furthermore, I was very please how helpful and knowledgeable the tutors were helping me on writing assignments.
