3 College Sophomore

Technology: Some times AU WiFi doesn't want to work.

3 College Junior

Technology: Printing can be a challenge especially when it's right before a class time. But there is more than one printer so as long as you can find a working one, it's not too bad.

Most students have their own laptop because wireless Internet is available all over campus. However, if a student doesn't own a computer, there are computer labs with computers available in Boyer Hall, the science building, and other areas on campus. The most used computers are in the library, which gets crowded near the end of the semester. The library has printers, scanners, and copiers, although many complain of the failing printers when it becomes more crowded. The best thing to do is to bring your own laptop. A personal printer is great, but not necessary. Most students can survive all year by saving their work from a  laptop to a disk and printing out the work at the library. However, don't count on printing out an assignment right before class. It's inevitable that at least once, the printers will be down and work will not be handed in on time.
