Party Scene

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I don't live on campus - I'm a graduate student, so most of my socializing with classmates take place off-campus, in homes or at Keswick Tavern.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: You have to make the most of arcadia's dance parties. Other than that you have to make you own party which is just a get together and play music with drinking games. Unless you go to the basketball house.

2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Arcadia really isn't a party school. You can find something if you try hard enough, but it's honestly easier to just go to another school. Most "parties" seem to be smallish get-togethers, with alcohol, and maybe some drinking games, depending.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: the library computers take a long time to start

1 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Don't come here expecting a party every week. There really are no places on campus to party. For those who like to party, they either complain about the lack thereof or they take SEPTA to Temple University.

Arcadia is not a huge party school, but parties can be found. The close proximity to Philadelphia leads to a good time any day of the week. Nightlife is more of a weekend thing on campus, but one can always find something to do. This is not a school for being drunk and crazy all the time, though there certainly are a few people who do just that. Arcadia is more laid-back than anything else, but the occasional off-campus house party is not unusual. Most people just like to hang out with a few friends or take a trip to the city for fun.
