Academic Experience: The certification program is all online except one class that is hybrid and is always cancelled. The department head spends her few available hours sipping on a soda. The instructor online for the bulk of this program is arrogant and actually mean and not helpful..

Academic Experience: The degree that I'm pursuing is in early childhood education so this school as an on site child care center which a person can gain some real life experience in working with children.

Academic Experience: In the Exercise Science program we participate in activities such as administering VO2 testing, fitness assessments, and health screenings. This is very unique compared to other programs that may focus more on book work. The workload is a very large one and you must set aside enough time to complete your work. Much time is spent in the fitness center and outside. There are many internships and job opportunities in the field of Exercise Science and this program will prepare you for for these.

Academic Experience: The graduation requirements in order to get my CNA was to complete 72 hours of internship in long term care and acute care along with hospice care: also another 72 hours of lecture/class time. I had to read and learn about certain skills from my assigned class books and we had weekly tests that counted for most of the grade. Every Friday I went to class from 8 am to 12pm. It was a semester long course . ACC had a great program because Most CNA courses only require 40 hours and only one type of internship. I was fully prepared to take my MSPE (an ACC version of the State Board Exam) and I was fully prepared for working in the job I am in right now. I got hired right away as soon as I completed my course at ACC because of the advanced skills and practice I had with ACC.
