Campus Resources

College Freshman

Campus Resources: The campus is run by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia, so acting as mendicants and having their ministry in the outside world, they are expected to rely largely on sympathetic benefactors for fundraising. That being said, the campus is acceptable for what we are given. The facilities are old and need some TLC, but they serve their purpose and do it well--for the most part. The library has poor lighting and smells strange because it is a refurbished gymnasium. The athletic center is actually the Saint Thomas Health wellness center. The main building is rather old but clean. Campus ministry is very active especially for those staying on campus, but commuters probably have trouble building relationships with the small amount of students that go there. Campus is usually empty by Thursday afternoon. Still, Aquinas has made excellent changes over the course of one year and has an excellent trajectory--the future is good for this school!

Campus Resources: We have a very small, but awesome library including a computer lab and study sections. The hours of our library are really good as well. Campus activity even during winter months is incredible, every still participants in events going on around campus.

Campus Resources: The network since I have been attending my school has never once crashed, or failed. Personal computers are more than welcome, and highly recommended to bring to lectures to type on and keep notes. Printing is free at our school.
