Campus Housing: good dorms except freshman year

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some dorms are more updated than others, but all dorms are great for college students!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I lived in a much nicer dorm than others on campus (LLC). I have enjoyed the residential living community that I am a part of. As a part of that community, my dealings with housing have been fairly smooth. Loved my RA(s). A little far from campus though.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I'm choosing to be on campus for two years because of the experience I had my freshman year. I met a lot of my best friends in my dorm and I had the greatest time. I lived in Eggers Hall, which is one of the smallest along with Gardner, Coltrane, and Bowie, but I had a lot of stuff in that small room and never really had any issue. I made use of storage bins and labels and once I unpacked, I was good to go for the year. The cost is fairly reasonable and the cleaning crew came everyday to clean the bathrooms and hallways. I'm a germaphobe that never felt overwhelmed. I was nervous at first about the community style bathrooms, but I never had any issue with not having a shower available or anything of the sort. The housing application was short and easy, and there's a high demand for on-campus housing because of the opportunities. Many of my friends are involved with RHA and have an incredible time, and all of the RAs in my building were a great resource for anything I needed throughout the year.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: My freshman year of on campus living had many positives as well as many down sides. On a positive note, my hall had the largest room space for freshman on campus, however, the building itself was very old, and not as furnished as other halls on campus. Due to the size of the hall itself, it was hard to form close friendships with people on my floor with the exception of my roommate. While the size of the room was very spacious, I would recommend that freshman attempt to apply for a more furnished dormitory.
