5 College Freshman

Academics: Being a physics major with a concentration in astronomy is tough, but the department is very small and therefore close-knit so there is a lot of support among the students. It's recommended to try and do research your freshman year, because professors love to have their research students all 4 years. The workload is pretty heavy, but it helps!

3 College Freshman

Academics: There are passionate professors, but the cirriculum isn't all that great. First year seminar classes don't really help prepare you for anything, and are more of just a filler class. Many people study in the library, and you can book rooms for up to 4 hours.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Classes are reasonable and enjoyable. The teachers care if you do or do not succeed. Classes are not always available to get into but usually you can get the class the next semester.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: It really depends on the class and instructor. If you get someone who cares about their field and finds it interesting you will learn a great deal.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Classes are challenging yet manageable.
