Academic Flexibility

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: There is a pretty wide range of class times overall. However within disciplines, class availability can become a problem with only one or two classes offered for specific subjects.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I'll transfer my credits once I'm done but overall I'd say AVC was okay.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: All of the classes, that I have taken, have not been flexible. I had to change my work schedule so I can continue going to school. Also I am a first time student, therefore, I have no idea about transferring credits. The teachers expect a lot from their students so you must be prepared to do a lot of class work.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: One of the frustrating things about the college was they changed the requirements for the major three days after class signup. This meant that many people were taking courses that were not applicable, the college administration then complained about people taking unneeded courses. Now the change was mandated by the State, however the way the college implemented these changes was terrible. Administration has its issues but the rest of the college runs well and has a student focus to it.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They have a lot of time for classes and are easy to get into as long as you pick your classes ahead of time.
