4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I enjoy my college the only thing I would change is to make sure that each subject is available for different hours as well

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: For my specific major I think the school is great with great professors that teach the subject

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors that I have had are truly interested in our learning, and being equipped for the working world with up to date knowledge that's out there, My school is over populated and at times hard to get the class that you need but if you are close to graduating they do give you a priority registration to get the class that you need, overall I enjoy going to my college

Campus Quality: The facilities are average at AVC. Its an older campus but there are in the process of updating it and the renovations are nothing short of beautiful.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: The career center is so helpful whether you're looking for on-campus work, work study programs or job openings in your degree area.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have had an overall great experience at AVC. Great professors, solid learning, and awesome peer bonding.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is such a vast variety of student life on campus. There is a club for every personality type and interest.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the registration fees are outrageous at $46 a unit but that's the state's problem not the school's. Definitely apply for FASFA, the BOG waiver and ANY other financial aid you might qualify for.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The RCT program is wonderful and the only one within an hours drive.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The school desperately needs a second full size campus. Its overloaded with students trying to get classes they need for their degrees. The professors are amazing though, the workload is average, and the range of degree programs is awesome and far more vast than other semi-local schools.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: AVC has a range of options to choose from when it comes to campus resources. There are bulletin boards everywhere that display plenty of information. The student center is a resource gold mine. The athletic department will help you figure out anything you want to know about any and all things sports related on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The computer lab could use some updating but overall it gets the job done.

Academic Experience: they dont have the major I want but I have to get an A.A. in something similar to what I want to do so that I can transfer, there was not specific program just a list of courses that needed to be taken and it was pretty straight forward

Overall Experience: I had a very rough start but as I persevere it got easy and I got encouraged to keep pursuing my dream, everything else was just situational and there is always something you can do about it, its just a matter of what are you wiling to do to make your dreams come true

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: from my personal experience it is not easy to schedule classes this campus is not very flexible, they have cut many classes and are very limited with their staffing that i have to shuffle everything around me to make time for it

5 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: The student body is extremely diverse which is a great thing you meet people from various ethnic backgrounds, political affiliations, religions and sexual preferences. Im not sure if is a good thing or a bad one but no one really cares for that, for example if your gay they wont care at all they are very accepting and you can make friends with anyone, but of course there's gotta be something in common as well

3 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is very expensive even for part-time students, costs have risen and it's really hard for student to keep up, it makes it hard on all student because financial aid is very strict not everyone qualifies and slows down the time in which you complete your degree.

Campus Quality: This campus really focuses in the science and I must say I love the new facility and the programs they have I am a kinesiology major and most schools you go to do not have state of the art equipment and we do, that really makes me work hard and put this tools to good used I truly believe this campus is one of the best in science

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: They have a lot of great student services, and strive for student success however they are limited with financial resources and staff. A great example would be the athletic center. They have extremely old equipment and is all put together in a very small room (very crowded) making it difficult for a class of 30 students to succeed. The library facility is great but it lacks enforcement, as a library it should a quite place for student to be able to study without interruptions and it's not the case at our library. The campus aesthetics are improving with the introduction of state of the art football field, performing arts center, and the science center, but all other are lacking, and it remains very old and problematic for students

2 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: This campus is the worst with the computer network. They offer wifi but you must get a contract with AT&T and pay a monthly fee, and even if you did the wireless signal is limited, only some sections of the campus offers it. However they have various places in which you can access a computer to do homework, and print, but since this is a greatly impacted college sometimes it can be a challenge

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: The school campus is overal a good school. There could be some improvment but i'm not here to jugde. The school has alot of spirt and alot of activity for fun and many other reasons.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The students at my school are very social, alot go the centers for aid and getting work done. Many students go to the library for research and so time of peace. Some people are easy with and other not some much. The school is mixed in many way. Some are good, others bad, and everything in between. The school is a great school in my hafe a year. Can't wait to see more.
