Academic Experience: I really haven't met someone with my major. They all seem to just take these classes for Gen-Ed but for me this is my future.

Overall Experience: Overall, It's okay. There hasn't been something that has taken my breath away, except for the computer labs. Honestly just get familiar with the school. If you need it, it's probably there.

Student Body: The student body at my school is great. I've been here for a little and I am mostly aware of the ongoing topics. I can not attend to them because of my schedule. They seem to know what they are doing,. They are very friendly and seem to accept diversity.

Online Courses: AAVC is a community made for student to get in and out. Nothing more and nothing less.

Academic Experience: I like it. The school like I've said is pretty great. you only have to take advantage of the programs offered.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like my school. I'm not totally fascinated by it but I like it. I know that I would enjoy it more if I get involved. Sadly, I don't have the time for it. My courses and professors are great and I like them. The class sizes are reasonable enough where you can get interaction and cooperation.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I didn't know I could get financial aid. I knew that the possibility existed. My high school talked about the process but didn't elaborate on it. They made us fill out applications and such but that was it. I was confused as to why I didn't receive it when a few weeks passed. So I went to the college FA line and the assistant was totally nice and she walked me through it. She told me I qualified and told me the documents need and the steps I had to take. I applied late and that's why it's taken time, but that's my fault not theirs.

Campus Resources: Now the resources on campus are amazing. I am a freshman and I already know most of the departments and how to utilize them to my advantage. There are workshops, tutorials and computer labs. Everything you need is there. If you do not take advantage of it, then that's your fault. But, again the resources are amazing. I've already attended writing workshops and soon I'll be going in for tutoring.

Student Body: The student body at my school is great. They are trying their best to keep students informed and to participate. I've been here for a bit and they seem to know what they are doing. If they do not actively seek you out they'll notify you by email about all the activities going on. Also, you can see it on the home page. I wouldn't say they are THE best but they are alright.

Online Courses: The online courses workout great sometimes but most of them are too slow or hard to make it work right.

Academic Experience: I love my major but have yet to have a professor I can connect with and really learn.

Campus Quality: I enjoy the campus life, the scenery is great and it feels good meeting people pursuing their education. Recently I discovered that this school has been around much much longer than I had originally thought, and has a good reputation as well. Though I personally don't go to the football games, I do know that the football team here is popular and always has some of the best games in the A.V.

Online Courses: I personally find online courses to be easier and less stressful than being in the classroom. Ive taken online courses in the past, and I definitely plan to take more in the future. I feel that the online features available such as video tutorials, blogs, and quizzes help me to understand the workload much better. The ability to get in touch with my teacher through email as well as phone contact is something i'm very grateful for, and is incredibly helpful. I'm quite familiar with the school website so online registration is always easy for me.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Some teachers are really strict on their attendance policies, while others are understanding and allow you to miss if necessary.

2 College Junior

Campus Quality: Many students are not taking their education seriously, and simply mess around in the hangout areas.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I applied for the BOG Fee Waiver and had all my tuition waived.

Student Body: Many AVC students are unfocused slackers who don't take education serious.

Campus Resources: While not the fastest, it definitely isn't the slowest either. Many areas of the school have wireless internet access and I have never had trouble accessing it.

Campus Resources: The library and computer labs are really the only resources I use at the school, and they serve their purposes well enough.
