3 College Senior

Career Services: I've never had to use it, but I'm guessing its okay.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I have a really basic major that is needed to fulfill GE requirements, so I'm only taking the basic classes and don't require a lot of specific guidance.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Not the worst, but not the best either.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: All the facilities are there and available, however they are very old fashioned and not up to date.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: we dont get the money

3 College Senior

Online Courses: The workload is average, not a lot of work is given and when work is given it is manageable. I don't really talk to my professors but they are all great people. I get priority registration so I am happy with that.

College Senior

Career Services: I have never had to go use any of their career services because I have not even started my classes for my major yet.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I am okay with any type of person, but I do not associate much with them. I go to class, and I do homework in the computer lab, and then I go home.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is Nursing and AVC has a really great program for this major and it is not as expensive as four year colleges.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Since I also attend SOAR High School, I get priority registration which mean I get the classes I want most of the time. When i do pick a class, I see if I like the professor also.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Most classes are at a good timing, especially the morning classes. The problem is that major classes always have the same time and day. This means that in order to get the classes I really want, I have to make my schedule all over the place.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: We receive emails about what is going on, on campus. Each student has to pay a $19 fee but it is worth it because we get medical services. The library is always available, and they have a new Health and Science building with a great computer lab.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Everyone I have met is extreamly nice and helpful. No one likes to see another student do bad.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The degree you get here will help you find a job or help transfer to a four year.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I have never had any issues.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The students and faculty are all pleasent. The library is always quiet and a great place to study. Every so often, there are camous activities that are enjoyed by all. The campus itself is very clean and well maintained.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I always get a reponse quickly, the subject is understanable, and never had any issues.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The only negative would be that the finanical aid department does not have enough help. The wait is almost always at least an hour before the student can be helped.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors at this school are hit and miss with each class. All of the courses I've taken have been great but the professor really makes the class I've come to find. Some can be really awesome while others are mediocre or poor and you get nothing from the course.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am still working on general-ed classes and only have 1 major class this semester. The workload is fairly average so far. In the future, I will be taking classes at the airport working on airplanes. I think that is really awesome with the whole hands on thing for my major. Getting to go hands at a junior college really makes the experience A+.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Plenty of different majors with a lot oriented in the Aeronautical direction. 250 different professors to choose from in all of the subjects.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Career center is strongly orriented towards the Aeronautical Industry which is very large in Lancaster so they have a lot of job preospects oriented towards this as well as healthcare.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: All kinds of financial aid is available at this school and is fairly easily obtained. Tuition is cheap because it's a Junior College in Lancaster. Definitely getting my money's worth.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career center on campus is extremely helpful and there is frequent college fairs on campus that lets everyone get a look at all the college options that are around. Many of the degrees offered at this school can be applied directly in Lancaster.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: If I'm able to apply early enough during the registration period, I can get pretty much all the classes I need by easily signing up online. Their is a lot of the same classes at different times of the day so I'm able to get whatever classes I need to work in my schedule.
