3 College Senior

Student Body: We have a diverse student body but its not one that is prideful on togetherness.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is straightforward, every credit costs a certain amount of money. The money being spent is worth the education I am receiving.

3 College Senior

Career Services: Doesn't seem to have any jobs looking for prospects from this institution. Mostly used by students who want to transfer or older students need a degree in order to gain higher position in their career.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Academic programs aren't given much of a voice on campus.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Very few professors actually care about their professions. Most just read of a powerpoint based on the textbook.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Resources don't seem welcoming, counseling center for example. Very few seem to care about students future while other counselors go over very little about students education plan.

3 College Senior

Student Body: There are many african americans who don't care about other peoples' or their education

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid will help me

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I like it here at avc

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I don't need a degree for my job

3 College Senior

Career Services: There are good job opportunities.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some professors aren't the best

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some courses are just not that challenging

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The school try a by on offer there students some activities. They do have a good athletic center, with a variety of sports to choose from. They do have a wonderful learning center with amazing tutors who help. They do have after school clubs that are interesting. However, I do believe that they need to improve on these areas though.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: All of the classes, that I have taken, have not been flexible. I had to change my work schedule so I can continue going to school. Also I am a first time student, therefore, I have no idea about transferring credits. The teachers expect a lot from their students so you must be prepared to do a lot of class work.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I do love all the professors, they do an excellent job when it comes to teaching the students. However I wish that the school had a wider varietybof classes and class availability because its really hard to get the classes that you needvso you can graduate.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: All of my teachers, so far, have been really helpful, when it comes to my education. Most of my administration of Justice teachers, have been very helpful. My professors, from my classes, seem to really care about my success.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: In my college therebis no help when it comes finding a job in your career path. However, they do help the students find regular jobs, located in the community. They have helped some of the students work as a bank teller,Starbucks employee, and etc. I do wish they helped the students find internships for their career paths. I believe that would be extremely helpful

4 College Junior

Student Body: My college has a lot of different diversities. There are African Americans, Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian and etc going to school in Avc. All these people comebfrom different ethnicities and spiritual backgrounds. It seems that everyone,at my college, are very accepting when it comes to different diversities.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is not that bad however the financial aid needs to be increased. Students have to use most of their financial aid of just books, there isn't enough for room and board and other college expences. The financial aid has to be at least a little hire then tuition. So the students does not need to worry about not having enough financial aid to pay for extra expensives.

2 College Junior

Career Services: They do not have a good post-grad service. Most of the people who graduate have to try and figure out how to start there careers by themselves. The only people who try and help is the teachers. Multiple of my teachers have helped me try and start my career already.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All the professors, that teach my major, are quite helpful. They make sure you understand the material and also try and help you find a career in that field. Multiple of my instructors have helped me outside of school, hosted tutoring sessions etc, to make sure I succeed.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All the professor are very well educated and teach their subject well. However they do give you a lot of work to do. They require the students to spend at least 24hours a week studying for that class. There programs offered are excellent and there is a a lot to choice from.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: One of the frustrating things about the college was they changed the requirements for the major three days after class signup. This meant that many people were taking courses that were not applicable, the college administration then complained about people taking unneeded courses. Now the change was mandated by the State, however the way the college implemented these changes was terrible. Administration has its issues but the rest of the college runs well and has a student focus to it.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The anthropology department while small is fantastic. Whatever your major I suggest you take one of these classes as an elective. There are several options either physical anthropology, cultural anthropology and archaeology (where you will actually be out in the field for the second part of the semester).
