Overall Experience: I don't hate Anoka Ramsey. Most of the teachers are fabulous. Some can be real jerks, though. Most professors are understanding and flexible, but some are just as strict as high school teachers. I don't love it here, but I don't hate it.

Overall Experience: Personally, my experience at Anoka-Ramsey CC has been good so far. All of the professors I have had are very nice and do a very good job explaining the material. They all are willing to help students with material before or after class also. Students all kind of keep to there selves between classes but most are very nice and willing to become friends during class. What makes Anoka-Ramsey community college unique is the class sizes, the class sizes are pretty small most of the time, then the professors are more willing to work with you individually if you need the help. I would choose this school again because of the low tuition and awesome professors.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student body consist of a wide range of people from different backgrounds. There are plenty of young people, but there are many older generations who are coming back to school to finish/start a degree. I think the mix of generations is good because it brings all kinds of different people together.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The atmosphere is good. I would like a school more centered on the arts, but I understand this is a community college and there will be other people who aren't focused on the arts. My workload as far as generals works well with my full time job.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: This school has been very helpful in providing low cost, engaging instructors, and flexible work load. This school is the best place for someone working full time, and unsure of what they want to do next.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Being able to pick and choose class times and days is very convenient. I work full time as well, so it helps that I can choose a schedule to fit around my job. I easily pair classes that I think will fit together, making the load lighter.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost of tuition is low and I have had no troubles with enrolling in financial aid. It is a low cost way of starting my career as a college student, especially when I want to transfer to a four year to pursue a higher degree.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The library is a very good spot to study and it also has many good research books.
