Professors Passionate, Tutors and Advisers Available. My experience with professors at ARCC has been overwhelmingly positive. Instructors there tend to be incredibly passionate about their subject matter, as well as the welfare of their students. They are very involved, provide many office hours and opportunities for extra help, and are sure to touch base with students often if there are any concerns (or just to check up).
There is also a very large tutoring center, with tutors available for almost every subject, and all very willing to help.
The advisers there are also very helpful and are willing to either quickly answer a questions or spend an hour helping you figure out your future!

This school is great!...if you like cheap. I have a many problems with the school, including them trying to tell me I have yet to graduate high school! Any time you need something, such as talking with a Counselor or Financial Aid, expect to wait in line. Sometimes, even possibly for hours. On the plus side, the school has a nice new student lounge area. One are is for quiet and has a nice view of the river, which is great for studying! The other is more for leisurely entertainment purposes if you're stuck on campus. There is television, air hockey, and even a coffee shop.

Know Your Learning Style! I took an accelerated summer online course, and I am in another online class this fall. I originally thought I would love the convenience of not having to drive to the school...but then quickly learned there is value to being 'face to face' with certain teachers with certain subjects! The teaching style and organization of the teacher and also the students primary method of learning are WISE things to look at when deciding to choose an online course. At Anoka Ramsey they have a great online forum called D2L that helps students keep track of their classes and assignments, and is user friendly for students to turn in work, check what's coming up, as well as checking your grades. For my online classes, I have to be very structured and set aside 'class time' or it can get away from me!
