Campus Resources: More Than the Necessities – There are great services on campus, and everything you'll need is available. There's a new great sports facility, and the old ones are open for public use. There are plenty of places to eat or lounge in between classes. The facilities are spacious, clean, and constantly upkept. The only things that I think the college lacks are large multitudes of clubs and better availability of counselors.

Online Courses: Fair and Decent – There's only so much you can say about an online course. Ease of instructions, convenience of course deadlines, strictness of logging on. AACC has pretty good all around online courses

Academic Flexibility: Not Quite Done – Well I'm not even done with he transferring part as of yet. I will be receiving my Associates degree, and we'll see how that moves over to other schools. Supposedly if I transfer to an instate school they are required to accept all my credits.

Overall Experience: All Fine and Dandy – The girls are great, the campus is pretty, and even some of the teachers are quarky enough to be interesting. Only problem is its a community college and there's only so much one can get out of that. I've had my share of bad teachers, good friends, and tennis matches, but I'm desperate for a four-year institute.

Overall Experience: My professors are not only interesting but also have a sense of humor.

Overall Experience: AACC is a great commuity college. When i graduated from high school i had no clue where i wanted to go to college or what i wanted to major in. AACC has so many classes to choose from and admissions was so easy that i decided to take a shot at going to a community college first. the professors are amazing they are more than willing to help you out if you need any help weather it be in their course or in any other lass. Some even tell you that you can come to "theraphy" if we need to; to talk about anything really. so far my professors have been really great.
The one thing about AACC that i do not like is the fact that at the counseling office your kinda like another number. You sign in take a seat then they call you back. You go through the generic counseling session and then you leave. i wish the counselers would try to take a little more interest in students as people and try to help them figure out excatly what they want tot do and how to do it they mostly just give you hand outs and say "It's all just water under the bridge", but what they don't get is itsnot all just water under the bridge university look at all of your courses and if you jave one grade thats lower than someone who is exactly like you on paper they are going to choose them over you and the fact that the counslers say you can just take it over next semester, they don't get that a college student doesn't really have another $400.00 sitting around to take a class over.
So all except for the way the counseling department is run AACC is phenomenal.

Student Body: while some people are really friendly and nice most just keep to themselves. so new bird will have a hard time flying for a little while

Campus Resources: The Best – Easily accessible and very convenient. the staff members are always helpful and always answers any questions needed

Campus Resources: Art Dept – The Visual Arts Dept at AACC is spectacular. The faculty are extremely loyal and kind to their students, where I feel like a real person, and the facilities are always being upgraded to par with the needs of their students. Clubs and various other extracurricular activities are always available to everyone and there is never a dull moment.

Academic Experience: Options Are Readily Available – I am in a transfer program and all classes that are required are also directly transferrable to my four year school. This make it very accomodating because to me, my time is priceless and being able to accomplish an associates while working on my bachelors is a huge plus.

Overall Experience: Sensible, Inexpesive Yet Impressive – At first I was horrified by the premis of driving to class everyday and then going home to work. If one doesnt know where to look AACC can be very underwhelming in the way of social life. There are after all no dorms and obviiusly no dorm parties, there is barely even a commons. I have however managed to make many good freinds and even met my partner of two years now at this school.
This schools academic quality is astouding for a community college, I myself have learnt far more than I would have antipated and am ceaslessly impressed with the quality of professors even at the introductory level. The really do have PHD's teaching level 100 courses. The college also have a plethora of non credit activities available, there is nearly no limit to what you can learn or do between the credit and non-credit sections.

Online Courses: Online classes are great for those who are self motivated and/or are not auditory learners. I have taken many hybrid courses and have found that system to be very useful. Purely online courses felt unreal and i had a hard time feeling responsible to a course Id never been to. The hybrid courses however were excellent. One gets the benifits of personal lectures in addition to the benifit of having access to online resources and the ability to complete anfd submit homework from home. Angel often includes additional course materials such as helpful instructional videos or online lecture aids.

Academic Experience: The academics are great. I have never had a problem with anything. The only problem is I have a disability that prevents me from being able to come into the school so I take online courses. There are some online courses that require you to come in for proctored exams, math being one of them and also being a required course for my degree or any degree I wish to seek. The teachers won't change anything and the disability services say they can not make reasonable accomodations for me.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have not had too many great experiences with my financial aid office. I've had to apply over and over again for scholarships because they keep telling me they don't receive the application. I have had to take out loans every year because I can not get a scholarship even though I qualify for many that are offered.

Campus Resources: Computer Networking at AACC – I believe that the computer networking at AACC is exceptional. The computers are fast and reliable and we have the option to print from the computers whenever we want.

Academic Experience: Experience as a Business Transfer Student and AACC – To be a business transfer student at AACC is a challenging but rewarding experience. Through this program I have learned the basics of every business aspect which have greatly expanded my knowledge of the business world. I have also had hands on experience through service learning.

Campus Resources: Fun on Campus – My college picks days that are filled with fun free activitys. One day I was walking to my class and saw a huge blow up toilet. The toilet was like a dunk tank but it made flushing noises. This activity was not only really funny to watch but it made the whole campus very happy. Plus they gave us all Ritas Ice cream!

Overall Experience: Very Happy Choice – I never wanted to go to a Community College but when noticed how much money I was going to save, I realized AACC was the best choice for me. What I did not know was that the schools administration is amazing. When ever you need anything you can make an appointment and they will be there for you. Also all of my professors at AACC are the best teachers I have ever had. I have never been a math person and my math professor made the class not only fun but easy. AACC is a great college, and the experances students have really last a lifetime. I tell everyone they should go the best Community College, Anne Arundel Community College.

Campus Resources: Good Look AACC – My school offers good programs that help the community. The toy drive during the holidays really stuck with me. Not only were they collecting toys, they collected clothes and food to help every age and gender. My school also have huge campus awareness events such as HIV, Alchohol, and Drug Addiction. I think this is wonderful.

Overall Experience: Optimistic Attitude Towards School – AACC is good. I like it because it is very diverse. I've learned alot as well as made better choices for myself. Im not to enthused about community college but it has been a good choice. Once I receive my degree, I will move forward positively to a four year and succeed!

Student Body: The diversity at Anne Arundel Community College is greater than I have ever seen. There is no known discrimination and everyone is friendly and almost all the students and faculty are very nice and helpful.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Campus Resource Accessibility – The campus is a very vast place with many things to do. Personally, the libraries are me favorite. They have almost every resource i need for research and it works out very well in the end. The activities are easy and fun.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Excellent Convenience – I believe that the professors, the curriculum, the class registration process and all the above are very convenient. The professors seem to be very knowledgeable of what they teach. So far in my experience, they try any way they can to set their rules and regulations straight for everyone to understand. At the end of the semester it works out very well for me.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Down to Earth and Informative. I am majoring in special education, and I love the education classes offered at my current college. As any education major, some of the classes require grade school in class experience. The teachers in my classes and the classes I am observing utilize our experience to the fullest to prepare us. Many education classes tailor their curriculum and workload so that what I learn and observe can be directly be directly applied to my own education career.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The online courses offered at Anne Arundel Community College are fairly easy to navigate. They offer a wide variety of courses to take for every major. Unforunately, there is little communication between the professor and student or peer-to-peer interaction. It is nice not to have to worry about commuting back and forth.
