4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I have not decided my major yet but the nice thing is I'm taking my general requirements so I have time to think about what I want to major in.

Campus Resources: There is a computer lab in just about every building that provides inexpensive or free printing. You can use the computers for unlimited time, however, the hours are not always convenient.

Campus Resources: There are many study programs available at the campus. Additionally, the business department alone has superb reseources for business students, including the business incubator, which allows 'the Best Of Business" competition winners to have a free office, free accountant and lawyer, as well as other faculty help start their business for up to 2 years.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I pay for my school out-of-pocket. It is about $130 a credit, which is the least expensive tutition I have ever seen. They also allow a payment plan, which allows you to make installments. For instance, is the total is $1,950.00, you would pay $375.00 at registration, as well as on September 1. Then October 1 and November 1, you would pay $600. It gives the student time to save up for the two higher payments, while not hacing to pay the entire amount at once.

Campus Resources: Computer are everywhere. There is a new library with plenty of resources and many mini labs everywhere for student use. There is free wifi. Printing in a mini lab is limited. There is truly no need for a computer.

Academic Experience: I am an Education Major. Every education class I took they were the same people in a small class. You really get to know the people in your concentration and make connections with them and the professor.

Academic Experience: I love the academics. The professors are for the most part, relatable and willing to help you succeed. This college provides many opportunities for you to excel in each of your classes through supplemental instruction, tutoring and field work experiences. Every class I took had a pacing guide that the teacher shared with us. Registering was super easy and fast. The workload truly depends on the class and the professor. Plenty of opportunities to make friends.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Even though I did not benefit from using financial aid, plenty of my friends benefited from it. At least 75% of the student population recieve aid, they pay for your books and tuition. You also get paid back money in the middle of the semester.

Academic Flexibility: The classes are incredible. The academic flexibility is there and easily accessible. You can choose from a large selection of majors, and the school does a great job outlining where you can go with your intended major.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is easily affordable. I however am paying for everything myself, as well as self-funding my start-up. The school provided me with a incubator space to ease the costs of starting a business. Financial Aid couldn't help me because my parents won't sign my FAFSA form. (I do not understand why) and I live on my own. Next year I can claim myself as a full independent and FAFSA will be eligible.

Academic Experience: The professors here are incredible. Once again this educational establishment is top notch, and unrivaled.

Student Body: Students at AACC aren't just the people who couldn't get into a 4 year scool. AACC is a leader in education and strongly ahead of the curve versus other "community colleges."
The faculty at AACC are A+ especially in the business department. Clubs are made available, the student senate is functional, and the class sizes are incredible. There is a lot of one-on-one interaction between students and professors, and the President of the college genuinely displays a desire for her students to succeed.
I love AACC, and wish I would have come right here before going away to a 4 year school as I did for 2 years at York College of Pennsylvania.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I'm getting is well worth the money I'm paying. I got a lot of financial aid, which helps me pay for the classes that I needed to take during the semester. I learned the easy way that it's absolutely important to get all of the correct financial records, including tax returns, on time before the deadline to apply for federal student aid. Tuition and financial aid is well-informed and very understandable for every student and it's easy.

Career Services: Upon my arrival at AACC, I had trouble to find a decent job in my field. So naturally, I went to the Career Center for help, as it should still be an asset to me post-graduation. The Career Center has given me the exact resources that would help me find me a job. As of right now, I finally landed a job, which is a part-time, working with children at a community center.

Overall Experience: The education I have received so far is very reasonable, considering the great prices.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computer network at AACC has never given me any trouble but at the same time I am not on-campus as much, to be more likely to experience any.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The resources on campus and off are great. My personal favorite is the new library, it is truly amazing.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The school offers free tutoring for certain classes, usually about 15 free hours. The website is the biggest help of mine, I can easily find out details about my classes, financial aid, advisers and the library database.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There is a myriad of ways to access information, whether it is through my adviser, teachers, or on the campus website.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Not Too Thrilled – AACC is a nice campus and I am learning a lot, but the atmosphere is too down-trodden. The students don't seem to care much, and everyone smokes on campus. But, all of the classes and programs are very good, and if I work hard enough I always get a good grade.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: It was a lot harder to stay focused than when I'm in a regular classroom. But, I was able to pull though with a good grade.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Age Variety – There are many student that are still in high school as well as many students who are 30+ years old. The student body is mostly Caucasian and many work full-time. However, All students are welcome regardless of race or ethnicity

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Finish Paperwork as Soon as Possible – The Education I am receiving is definitely worth the tuition and the financial aid I am receiving is excellent. However it is very important to meet the deadlines of the paperwork for financial aid in order to receive a proper amount.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Online Classes – I love the fact that I am able to take classes online and I am able to schedule taking my exam at the testing site after I get off work or on Saturdays. It's great! It leaves me time to spend with my family and not interfere with my job.

Campus Resources: AACC Computer Network – the computer usage on this school is amazing. Not only is there always a computer available but the computers are fast and the network is barely ever down. If it is down it is not down for long because the computer techs are fast at what they do. Even if you have a problem with your lap top you can take it to the computer techs and they will help you free of charge. There is not unlimited printing at AACC but it is reasonable. You are allowed to print 10 pages per a day I usually never go over 10 pages a day so it is a reasonable printing allowance. With all the computer access there is no real need to have one at school but since the wireless connection blocks all types of social networks even if you bring your own laptop you will be fully focused in class.
