Academic Flexibility: It's pretty cool how you can take different evening classes Monday - Saturday if you don't really want to take classes in the morning or have time to. Right now, i'm taking all of my classes in the evening and you see a lot of adults in there who are pursuing higher education, but there are still younger adults like myself in those classes as well so it doesn't feel like you're stuck in a class of just adults. Aside from different class times there are also different days. There are classes on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays or Tuesday and Thursday or just Mondays or Mondays and Wednesdays so it leaves a lot of room for spending time with family or if you're a working student, the school offers schedules that can still give you decent hours at your job

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its simple and straightforward. Registration, cashier's office, and the financial aid office are all on the same floor in the same building so it's easy to go from one office to the next when you want to pay for your classes

Student Body: So many different people at the school even though it's small. There are also different kinds of people and in a way, it amazes how there are a couple of tables in the cafeteria filled with students playing yugi-oh, pokemon, or other card games. If not that, then gamers. People bring in their laptops and battle one another side by side. Sometimes there are even game tournaments. There is also plenty to do on campus

Campus Quality: I think the best thing my school has to offer is their jumpstart program for high school students. I didn't have time to do it myself when I was in high school and the classes I took were hard enough already, but if I several free periods, then I would definitely fill them up with college courses from AACC. High School students in the county were able to college level courses at AACC and receive dual credit (both high school and college credit). I like how there is a variety of age groups, ethnicities, and majors here at school as well. The students at the school are mainly there for their associate degrees

Online Courses: So far, I have taken only one online course from AACC and I liked the course. All online courses are done through a website called ANGEL and it's similar to blackboard or edmodo if you've ever encountered these things. It is straightforward, easy to use, and the teachers are responsive. It is under the student's responsibility to contact the teacher on time and the professors are rather quick in their responses. I recommend to take online algebra math courses and other courses that do not require interaction with other students.

Campus Resources: There are a lot of resources. I have had some really good teachers.

Campus Resources: A lot of teachers was their work submitted through Angel. I thought I was submitting my first assignment that way but I was wrong and the teacher sent me an email telling me I had not submitted the work correctly. Based on the wording I think is email was impatiently typed - harsh.

Student Body: The student body is your typical college handful of people.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I completed the forms and really haven't had to do much other that providing the financial aid office with copies of my taxes.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I see a lot of opportunity. I have not looked into any of the internship programs but I am sure that there are a few.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There are a wide variety of degrees offered and each of the professors that I have had in class, have been great. Class registration process could be a little easier but even that is not bad.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Not a large campus. Great for walking around and discovering new things!

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I have had a very good experience with scheduling classes and working with the administrators.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: AACC is a great school and gives a great deal of opportunity to students. There are 3 locations other than the main campus and all are great!

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I have been in classes in the morning and some of the evening classes and one Saturday class, I feel that AACC caters to diversity.

Online Courses: Learned so much and I was able to do it late at night or early in the morning. Online classes are great and it worked for me.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: AACC offers a great athletic program for both men and women. They have a website that covers information for the students to stay involved. Seems like something is always going on. They have several different programs to help the students succeed.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: All of the above is offered and the campus is wireless. Making a great experience for the students

Overall Experience: Dining Hall and Cafe hours sucks both are close before 4 leaving those with evening classes on their own to get something eat from a snake machine. They are both close on the weekend hurting the weekend students. I had an on-line professor mark me down on points on a video presentation of a speech because I choose to sit down because I was in a medical boot and it made it hard for me to stand for more than 5 mins. She ended the class and final on a Thursday when the last day of the class was a Sunday which caused several of us to miss the final and gave us a D. I lost financial aid because of the D and had my spring classes dropped so I decided to transfer early to UMUC, Can't stand people like her ending things early just to start her vacation early.

Career Services: It is just a stepping stone into going to UMUC to finish my degree

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My experience has been fine so far. I have not had to deal with transferring any credits yet.

3 College Junior

Student Body: My school has a diverse population. Basically everyone here doesn't care so much where you came from or what you look like, but more about who you are and how you act.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would choose my school if I had to do it all over again because I really felt I have learned from these classes and gained life skills and experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My Nursing program is great because the teachers challenge us and are understanding to the stress we go through, we have great job opportunities after we graduate, we have a high N-CLEX pass rate, the workload is spread out during the semesters, and our labs have a lot of resources for enhancing learning and making us more confident for our clinical experience.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: This school offers classes throughout the entire year so that you can spread out your course load over 8-15 week sessions.
