College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I haven't had to apply for financial aid, but I can say that I do NOT feel like I got what I payed for. Even at community college prices. I feel robbed, these classes aren't worth 83 cents.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major was Paralegal studies and I found the program to be very difficult to succeed in. Lazy and uninterested instructors, ridiculously large and uncoordinated work load, and an unreasonable amount of credit hours required.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most instructors are uninformed and uninterested, but when you get a good one they're VERY good. Registration was easy enough, and the curriculum and workload really just depended on how bad of a teacher you had.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: The classes are operated by knowledgeable and helpful instructors, however the courses are almost set up for failure. Terrible and hard-to-navigate services. Impossible to know when assignments are due, very hard to submit correctly. Disaster.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The advisory and the counselors are all very helpful.

Campus Resources: We have a great new library, and the campus is relatively well kept. However the whole place reeks of tobacco and the student center is small and filled with the weirdest people and the "student activities" appear to be limited to holding signs with unsettling images of aborted fetuses.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Lots of room for moving schedules and classes, easy to fit into my schedule.

Student Body: Attending a community college means that you are surrounded by, mostly, people that are only there because their parents are making them. It means that you are less likely to find motivated and driven individuals that are there to further their education by choice-- all of those people are in REAL college, not community college.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I didn't receive much help from the financial aid department. They weren't really helpful with giving me information on scholarships or grants.

Academic Experience: I couldn't make a decision of the field I wanted to go in to so I'm a general studies major with a transfer. I studied a variety of general areas in my course work

Academic Experience: The course work loads were decent and reasonable, except for biology with a lab. There was a extensive amount of work needed for this class, more than any course I took at this school. Registration process was simple

Overall Experience: Class sizes were good. Professors for the most part were good. A few bad apples in the bunch. The school offered a good variety of courses

Academic Flexibility: I've pretty much been able to get the classes I needed, except for my biology. Most of the general education requirement courses fill up quickly. My credits easily transferred to my new institution.

Online Courses: There's pros and cons to online classes. They can be very convenient but sometimes teachers email response time can be bad. The work load seems more when you do a online class as well

Student Body: very diverse at this school. Lots of different groups to join

Career Services: Everything was very easy and simple online

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Online classes sometimes seem more as a way to learn something quickly, but not really effectively.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The college offers a lot of opportunities for students to contact employers in whatever industry they will be working.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There isn't a ton of diversity here, but everyone is very friendly around here, regardless of race or anything like that.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of the school is actually really great.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is very helpful, but could be better.

Campus Resources: There are many resources here available for all students, including a wide selection of books from the library, and many computer rooms open for use.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I had a very enjoyable 6-week online ENG 111 class over the summer. The course load was very manageable despite the short course time. Online class discussions were helpful.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition costs are good however there aren't many scholarships for students attending the institution.

Campus Resources: Mostly class rooms and computer rooms
