3 College Junior

Campus Food: All the dining is one one side of campus, so if you are hunger you better hope you are on that side

3 College Student

Campus Food: plenty of options could always be a better value

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Like to eat food period, so usually I'm okay with the meals on campus, but mostly prefer off campus venues.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The food on campus isn't the greatest, but it's also not the worst. Considering I'm not that picky of an eater, I find something anywhere so it isn't too big of an issue.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The cafe is good the first month you are there, but then everything starts to taste the same. It has been getting better though.

Angelo State University is adequately served by Chartwells Dining. However, since ASU is not a very large school, the options are somewhat limited. The main dining establishment is the Food Center, commonly referred to as the cafeteria. At the cafeteria, there are seven stations to choose food from, including pizza, pasta, salad, sandwiches, and homestyle entrées. Along with these stations, there is a small cereal bar, pastries and desserts, soup, and fruit.

The University Center has two major eating areas. The first is the Bistro, which offers a choice of two dishes, a sandwich, and a salad bar. The other is Crossroads Café, also known as the Snack Bar, which offers pizza, freshly grilled sandwiches, stir-fry, and cold sandwiches, all on the meal plan. Chick-fil-A and Blimpie Subs are also located in Crossroads, but they are not available on the meal plan. Roscoe's Den is the third establishment, and it is the late-night option for hungry students, staying open until 2 a.m. during the week. Roscoe's Den is a grill and convenience store that cooks fresh entrées, but nothing at Roscoe's is available on the meal plan.
