3 College Freshman

Administration: the campus strictness is okay because they're strict to an extent if they don't know about it, it doesn't hurt you but if they find out then you get talked to by the RA and get put on probation. just like if you miss class you shall get notes from your peers or go to your teacher on their office hours. Very strict on late work

3 College Freshman

Administration: Our school is fairly strict always advocating to abide by the rules as it is a privilege for us to be attending a higher institution of education. We each know the consequences of committing such acts that would affect our academic or social lives and it is also written in the student handbook.

Angelo State University has a decent strictness policy. There is no curfew for students to be back in the dorms, but after midnight only residents can get into the dorms. This is because the front desks close at midnight and can't watch who comes in. However, RAs are on duty 24/7 to ensure residents' needs are able to be met. There are quiet hours, but they rarely need to be enforced because most students are considerate. Visiting hours are a little more strict. If you are caught with a visitor after hours, an RA will ask the guest to leave, and you only get in trouble if it is a recurring situation.

The alcohol policy is strict, especially in the freshman dorms, but enforcement is only as strict as the floor's RA. Typically, stricter RAs live in freshman dorms and enforce the alcohol policy, but some RAs in upperclassman dorms will be lenient if the person is over 21. Overall, a good RA will be the strictest because they are following policies and actually doing their job. The popular RAs are the ones that let their residents get away with anything.
