Health & Safety: AU's campus safety is good. There isn't a big campus safety department though, and some of the dorms are a little bit of distance from campus and campus safety doesn't go over there much. Other than that, it's good.

Parking: Being a commuter student, parking is not the best. We have very strict parking regulations in place and I'm sure there is a method to their madness but finding a parking spot can be a bit hectic. Luckily, our campus is not huge so you can walk to most places fairly quickly.

3 College Junior

Technology: We have three computer labs with over 20 computers that are almost always accesible to all students. There is one computer lab that is strictly for Education majors, one for graphic design, and several computers in the library. There are two printers in the Library and a printer in each computer lab. The lab printers can be somewhat difficult at times but the library ones are reliable

Campus Food: There are not very many options for dinning on campus. The good thing though is that changes are being made to our current options to improve our experience. There are also plans in the work for a new student center which will include more options!! Also the main option makes the BEST cookies in the world

Scholarships: I received a substantial amount of financial aid, but the process could have possibly been more simple. My mother helped with a lot of the process, but it was long and confusing. Once I got everything in place though, it all fell together and felt really good to get it all completed.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Most of the dorms are fairly nice. Several have recently been redone. The options are almost the same for upper and lower classmen. There are only two dorms that are reserved for upperclassmen. I personally love the "underclassmen" dorms for girls. Denamrk and Pratt have both had the bathrooms completly redone and they are awesome. They are located in the center of the campus and close to everything!

Drug Safety: There is not a strong presence of drugs or alcohol on campus at all. There are occasional stories of things that go on off campus but even those are very minimal. The rules on drugs and alcohol are strict and are enforced. Most of the times the punishment includes community service hours on campus.

Weather: Most days it's sunny and warm outside, but there are those days where it rains and rains and never stops and it's freezing out. But the campus is small enough as to not have to walk far in order to get back indoors.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There are mainly whites here but sometimes you will see some Asians and African Americans. Most students are pretty accepting as far as other racial groups and if someone's sexuality is in question. But some are really southern raised and straight southern baptist and are not accepting of others.

Health & Safety: the health and safety at anderson is great! they have a great on campus nurse that is willing to help and is knowledgable. They even call and check on you the next day after you visit them. The safety is also great! i have never felt unsafe on campus.

Academics: The academics at anderson are great! the classes are small and the teachers really care about their students. they are always there to hep out when needed.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Campus safety is very strict when it comes to parking. Students can only park in white spaces. They are also very strict when it comes to drink. Anderson is an alcohol free school. Anyone caught drunk or with alcohol can be kicked out

Campus Food: the food is average. it is not the best bust also not the worst

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: We have health and safety inspections every two weeks! The administration and staff really care about the physical, mental, and spiritual well being of the students.

Campus Quality: Anderson's campus may be over 100 years old, but it's got great southern charm. Most of the interiors have been renovated and provide a comfortable space to learn, live, and hopefully laugh!

Campus Food: Dining on a college campus is not like mom's home cooking, so don't expect that! The AU Campus Dining is exceptional in that it provides quality meals three times a day for thousands of students. There is more than one option on campus for dining so you should never go unsatisfied.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: It's often hard to pick where to eat off-campus because there are so many restaurants around! There's dozens of fast food restaurants within a few miles like Chic-Fil-A, Taco Bell, Little Caesar's, McDonald's, Bojangles, Moe's, Chipotle, Panera, and many more. If you have more money to spend, there's many sit-down restaurants too such as Olive Garden, Outback, Longhorn, Thai Spice, Red Lobster, Chili's, and more. There's also plenty of local coffee shops as well as Starbucks to get coffee and do homework.

Transportation: You can walk, bike, or drive around campus! The campus is close enough together so that you can walk anywhere that you need to go. There's bike lanes on the roads around campus and many new bike racks have just been installed all over the place. Parking passes aren't expensive, so you can also drive if that's what you prefer.

Campus Food: They do a great job of giving you a wide variety of options to choose from for your meals. You can go to the Caf for a homestyle meal or a sandwich from the sandwich bar, you can get burgers and fries at The Grill, or you can get pizza, pasta, and the salad bar from Food for Thought. If you don't want any of that, you can use your debit dollars to buy some coffee, a muffin, and a salad from Food for Thought.

Health & Safety: The nurses in the Health Center are the nicest people on campus! They do anything they can do to help you get well. If you need to go to a doctor, they can refer you, and you only have to pay $10. They always call to check to see how you're doing the next day even if you come in with a scraped knee. Campus Safety is great, too. Any time I've ever had a problem with my car, they come right over to help.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: I've lived in two different dorms.. Pratt and Stringer. Pratt is right in the heart of campus.. I used to get up 10 minutes before my class. I love living in Stringer, though, and I will probably live there until I graduate. I love having the common room to hang out in and having the mini-kitchen and full-sized refridgerator.

Local Area: I love living in Anderson. I came here from a very small town, so it's perfect for me. It has everything.. Wal-Mart, Target, a mall, movie theatres, skating rinks, a bowling alley, and tons of restaurants including a lot of great local ones. Plus, it's also only about 40 minutes from Greenville which has anything else you could need.

Academics: All of the professors here are amazing! I've never had one who hasn't been completely passionate about what they're teaching. They're all very willing to meet up with you outside of class and help you with absolutely anything. I've had professors spend hours helping me perfect a paper for their class. They really want you to learn and do well when you get outside of college.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Anderson offers a life style to fit everyone. Whether you love sports or your here for school Anderson offers the best environment for both. Its unique because no matter what you do someone is there to share the same idea or help you alone the way.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Anderson University is a dry campus. If you want to do those activities take them elsewhere. If you are going to do this you will be punished, so be smart and safe, respect your fellow students.
