Transportation: Computer Issues – computers are slow and unreliable, the labs are normally full or reserved and there are not enough of the them. the printers are poor quality, there are few of them, they are often broken, and there is little to no option of color printing.

Off-Campus Dining: Affordable, Healthy, Student-Friendly Options – Anderson provides food options that are culturally diverse, affordable for students, convenient, as well as healthy. Most of the fast-food restaurants are very affordable and some will even give student discounts (E-City Java, for example). Cook-Out is a popular choice for students because of the affordable price as well as the fun sociable atmosphere. Other than fast-food options, there are also sit-down options, such as Olive Garden, that are popular choice for a fun night out.

Transportation: Anderson University is smaller in size when compared to surrounding universities. There is not a dire need for a campus shuttle or other type of transportation other than walking and the occassional golf cart ride. The layout of our campus has been carefully planned out for convenient transportation via walking, biking, or anyother form of transportaion a student chooses.

Health & Safety: A Safe and Healthy Environment for Education – Anderson University places extreme importance on the safety and health of its students and faculty.

Majors: A+ for Easy – Anderson is a small school and you can do anything you choose. It isn't hard to get into any program whatsoever, you just have to apply. I've switched my minors and majors twice. Each time it was as simple as asking my counselor to switch it for me.

Local Area: Small City in the Middle of Farmland – Anderson is a city located in upstate south carolina. It's close to Greenville, which has some to offer. Anderson is a very small, very conservative town interested in raising families. It is not a very college friendly town.

Diversity: Many White Christians – It's a small, private Christian school. As long as you fit the predetermined norm, people will accept you. Venture out of that norm, however, and be prepared for an onslaught of rumors. I'm not going to say that it is not accepting, but it is hard to be anything but a conservative Christian on this campus.

Technology: Poor but Not Awful – They do their job most of the time. The printers stop working about once or twice a day, and you can never print anything off at lunch time. All the computers, however slow, always work. Anderson gives out free ipads though, so as long as you don't need to print a lot of things, you're fine without a computer.

Academics: The thing i love about Anderson University's academics is that all of my business professors are retired professionals who know what it takes to succeed. They are not difficult for the sake of being difficult. They show you the tried and true methods for completing everything from a complete accounting overview to financial advice and investing.

Health & Safety: Safety Is Key – The safety at Anderson University is pretty good. The only concern I have is that sometime they choose to target the wrong people. They tend to "get on to" the people who are just trying to have innocent fun, and neglect the people who are actually breaking the rules.

Scholarships: All About the Mons! Over all my experience with the financial aid office has been pretty good. They are very willing to help and figure out other options out for you. Other than the fact that Anderson University is expensive it has been good.

Overall Experience: AU from My View – Anderson University has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have learned more than just book knowledge. I learned what it means to be a true friend, leader, and how to be professional. My professors have been more than just teachers but true mentors to my professional development. They have taken a serious interest in me and how i am doing. I think my favorite experience so far has been when i told my adviser that I had my internship lined up for the summer. He shook my hand and told me how proud he was and that he was impressed with my growth as a student and as a young professional.

Off-Campus Dining: Whats on the Menu? Though the town of Anderson is not a very large town there is plenty of things to do, as well as my favorite, eat. There are so many different places you can choose from. there is everything from nice sit down stake houses for that once a semester date. There is also a huge selection of fast food from taco bell to the new and amazing Cook Out. There is also a new wide selection of sushi restaurants that are fairly close. The selection is only limited by your pallet.

Weather: The weather in Anderson is very similar to the weather where I live. It is very average temperature and breezy with very few storms. When I arrive there in the fall, the weather will be easy to get accustomed to. The nice weather will be great for being able to study on the front lawn and ultimately be able to have fun with friends without worrying about any poor weather.

Overall Experience: I Definitely Have Trojan Pride! Although I have not started school at Anderson University yet, after visiting the campus multiple times and attending Base Camp, Anderson's version of orientation, I know in my heart that it is where I am supposed to spend the next four years of my life! Everyone is so friendly and the education program is incredible! These next few years are sure to be the best years of my life.

Athletics: Sports Life – Anderson University is at the top of sports in our state in division II. Sports are really important for this school and our people come to our game to support the school.

Health & Safety: I've never felt unsafe walking around campus in the middle of the night. Campus Safety is constantly driving around protecting the university.

College Junior

Transportation: Bus, Car – The university does not have a bus system, but the city does. I have never used the city's bus system, but I see buses a good bit. Having a car is nice for leaving campus. On campus everything is within walking distance.

Campus Food: The food isn't horrible, but most of the time the vegetables are not delicious. Most of the time I get everything on my plate, but only end up eating a few bites of everything just to taste the food.

Off-Campus Dining: Anderson University is located near Clemson Boulevard. On Clemson Boulevard there are plenty of dining options, from informal to formal.

Campus Housing: Good Life – Anderson University is one of the best colleges. Dorms are pretty big and it has everything you need for a living. it has a nice social atmosphere. it is pretty small and you have the chance to know everything around it. The cost of the food off campus is good and there are different kind of food.

Technology: Hello 1999 – Don't expect the computer labs to be equipped with state of the art equipment. The computers being used were around when I was in early elementary, and I'm a senior in college. Bring your own laptop and color printer. Printing in color on campus costs a ton.

4 College Junior

Majors: Batten Down the Hatches – In my major, I have had to really buckle down on studying and striving to be a better student. I don't know about other majors, but it's a day to day struggle.

4 College Junior

Weather: South Carolina Sunshine – The weather is generally wonderful at this school. It hardly snows in the winter and rains average amounts.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: Neoclassical Nightmare – There are a few new buildings popping up on campus including the new library, the nursing school, and several dormitories. The new dorms, although new, are a maze inside--lack a good floorplan. The library is the nicest building on campus. The rest are in need of tender loving care.
