Scholarships: The financial aid office really works with you on what you really need for tuition.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: It always depends on what the consumer is in the mood for.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The school has extremely clean dorms and the teachers love you as their own children.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: the athletics here at Anderson aren't really a huge part of campus life. most people enjoy them, and we have a lot of athletes here, but other people on campus feel indifferent about them and don't really attend event.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: we do not have greek life here at Anderson.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really feel like I am qualified to rate the off- campus housing because I am only a freshmen, and I have no experience with it.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: there are a lot of off campus dining options here in Anderson. You of course have your basic fast food options and chain restaurants, but you also have some restaurants that you can only find here. another plus is that they are all within 10 minutes of the school so you don't have to travel too far if you want really good food.

Administration: Here at Anderson since we are a Christian school we have a zero tolerance policy for drugs, alcohol, underage drinking, etc. We also do not have co-ed dorms here and their are visitation hours in place for times when girls and guys can be in each others rooms. I thought that I would hate this rule at first because by boyfriend attends school here and you think "im in college, I should be able to do whatever I want! But I actually have grown to really like this rule. Girls and guys can only visit each others rooms from 7-11 pm and only on certain nights of the week. visitors, students and non students, also have to check in and provide identification to the RA on duty. this means that you don't have to worry about your roommates boyfriend crashing in your room throughout the night, and it also ensures that we have a safe environment for study.

Party Scene: One of my favorite things about AU, and one of the main reasons that I chose to come here was because it was unique in the fact that it wasn't the typical "college party" school. Since this is a Christian school parties aren't really allowed on campus. However student activities does plan different events through out the year where students can get together and have a really good time without having to worry about things like drugs or alcohol.

Scholarships: I can't really complain about financial aid here at AU. They offer a lot of in house scholarships that help a good bit with the cost of tuition, and the staff are always really helpful as well. The best advice I could give to those looking to get financial aid here at Anderson is to stay on top of your game. If you pull your weight, the staff members at financial aid will certainly pull their weight to get you what you need.

Campus Food: the food and dining options on campus are usually pretty good. it can get a little old after a while eating the same things over and over again though. Personally my least favorite dining hall is the Caf (except on chicken finger thrusdays) because its kind of hit or miss. Some days it is really good, and others you sit there staring at your plate trying to figure out the contents of the food that's sitting in front of you.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is an experience that I believe every college student should have. The social atmosphere of a dorm is the greatest, and you form such a great bond with the people that you live with. Another plus that comes with living on campus is you don't have to pay for gas driving to and from you classes everyday. Also the buildings are a lot closer to you so you can enjoy a few more minutes of sleep in the morning. The only negative thing that I can say about living on campus is that there is always a possibility that you could get put with someone that you absolutely just cannot live with. Although this is rare and most schools give you the option of picking a roommate it can happen, and that can really affect how you feel about your college experience.

Off-Campus Housing: From what I have heard, off-campus housing is good. I haven't lived off-campus, so I am not sure about it.

Off-Campus Dining: There is just about every kind of place to eat in Anderson that you would want. There is always a variety of options and most places even deliver if you don't want to leave your dorm.

Administration: The administration are very God-centered people and only want to see the students grow in their relationship with Christ. They are very helpful, keep students accountable, and are very involved. How many campuses can say that their president talks to them, knows their name, or walks around campus with students daily?

Scholarships: The financial aid staff is very helpful and is willing to help to get you the aid that you need. If you finish high school with somewhat of a good GPA or test scores, AU is very generous in giving financial aid. Many scholarship opportunities are offered on campus and advertised well.

Party Scene: I am not really a partier myself, but most AU students don't party on campus because of the fact that AU is a dry campus. AU doesn't allow alcohol, they don't allow tobacco, and the opposite sex is not allowed to be in rooms except for MTRFS 7-11pm. People who like to party usually go to the club Maui on thursday nights because it is college night and there are special deals.

Campus Food: The cafeteria usually has good enough options. There are days where there isn't much good to eat but those are very few and far between. The caf does a good job accommodating those with certain allergies, intolerance, or just picky eating habits. If someone wants a change, they can go to food for thought, which is a great alternative for lunch. The grille is also an option, but tends to be really greasy and unhealthy.

Campus Housing: I work as a resident adviser on Anderson's campus and would say that the housing experience is great. Some of the buildings are old and could use some renovation, but the living conditions are far from unsatisfactory. Residence Life does the best they can to ensure that everyone is happy in their living situation. I can say from experience that the staff at Residence Life is a great one. They are very friendly and helpful to not only the students, but fellow coworkers.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Not many time options to use the athletic facilities if you are not an athlete.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I don't eat out much but the food options are average around Anderson.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Administration is on top of things and takes their job very seriously.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: The Financial aid office is very helpful.

Campus Food: The food isn't excellent but I sometimes enjoy it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love living on campus. It allows me to be involved in all the activities offered to students. It has great access to food and all of my classes.
