Health & Safety: The Frehsmen girls often have to park so far away from the dorms that they are forced to walk through a sketchy neighborhood on the outskirts of campus at night to get home. They are often alone, and many of my friends have talked about being concerned for their safety while walking back at night. The school offers about two self defense classes for females only I think there's about one class offered each semester, but they only have about 25 spots open so if the class fills up, you have to wait for the next class to come around. I don't feel comfortable walking around at night by myself since the city of Anderson is not a generally safe place to be.

Health & Safety: The campus is very safe. There is emergency buttons all over and rape whistles as well. The campus is not known for sexual abuse or bullying.

Health & Safety: There is very little campus crime, the majority of it being simple stealing. Campus is a very safe environment. A police station is located on campus with on duty police officers at all times. There are "Safe Havens" that people can lock themselves into if they feel unsafe or if they are being followed. A police officer will immediately go to that spot and check on them. There are also safety poles with buttons to push for an emergency.
