Administration: Campus security is very strict and serious about enforcing rules. They are on top of campus parking and issue violations, warning and tickets on a daily basis. They patrol campus everyday and even double as traffic control for chapel crowds. They patrol the whole neighborhoods around campus which makes partying and underage drinking very difficult to do. They are in contact with students everyday, and help with broken down vehicles, EMT, security and Police Officers. They enforce campus speed limit signs and ensure that Anderson students are as safe as possible.

Local Area: There are lots of activities to be involved in around campus and the majority of the people are friendly and will smile at you when you walk by.

Health & Safety: The security on campus is great. Nothing that I know of has ever happened to endanger us as students. The health is a great factor as well. Both are great.

Majors: My major is Family Science at Anderson University. I like my major a lot! My adviser is great and has a degree of his own. It covers lots of areas in Sociology and Psychology so this major is a mixture of the two as well as having distinct courses for the major itself.

Weather: Well, in Indiana it can be very cold. All of the classes are fairly close together, so even when you have to walk from one building to the next...its not that far away.

Parking: Campus has an array of different parking lots. It is true, if you want to get a close to the door parking space, you will have to arrive fairly early in the morning. The parking lots are all color coded to match the parking tag on your vehicle. The parking lot that is usually the most accessible for me, is approximately one block from my classes. The walk is beautiful, even in the cold!

Guys & Girls: I love that Anderson University is such a diverse group of students. They are all diverse from ages, to ethnicity, and religious beliefs. It is a Christian College, however the different levels of religion and people who are on a path to find Christ as their personal savior is a great journey to be a part of!

Campus Quality: The student life around campus is great. We have a lot of fun in sports and lots of people love Mocha Joe's!

Weather: A lot of people do not like the weather in Indiana because it changes drastically. It's good though if you can go with the flow.

Administration: The campus rules are pretty strict, however, they are put in place to keep us safe.

Local Area: There really isn't anything to do in the small town of Anderson, Indiana. If you want to do anything, like go to a movie, be prepared to drive at least 30min.

4 College Freshman

Parking: There is parking available, you may just have to walk a little bit to get there.

Campus Quality: Facilities are okay on campus. They are working to make them better and add new. Things will be much better in the future.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: There are a few good teams on campus but many need a lot of work and support. The programs are growing though.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The academics are great. I am learning so much and the professors are great teachers. They bring a lot to the experience of college.

3 College Freshman

Technology: The computer labs are great and very nice. They are all full of a lot of computers, but the wireless has many problems on campus. The ITS is working on fixing it and it has improved a lot over the year. It could still use work though.

Campus Food: AU does not have good or decent quality of food no matter what. They do not even check out before sending all food out to students. Lots of students got food poison from various places.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: It is kind of sketchy to live off campus because house looks old, people are kind of intimidating. I would say it is reasonably cheaper than living on campus because I've done both. On campus, Students have to pay about $500~600 in a month. However, off campus, if students can find people to stay together then it would go down to $250 in a month.

Scholarships: For international student and as an international student, AU's been doing a great job to offer scholarships in order to bring more international students. It is really worth it for international students especially for MKs. I honestly do not know about residents but as far as I know, whoever got certain GPA, then they will receive dean's scholarship too.

Technology: The computers are not bad, but the wireless can be frustrating at time. I still can't get WiFi to work on my phone, and the wireless seems to go down quite a bit lately because they got a new system. They are working on it, and there are usually computers available at the library for when the system isn't working. Also, they strongly suggest you buy an Ethernet cord which you can plug into whenever Wireless isn't working. They only cost about $15, and you can buy them with Raven Dollars, so even when the Wireless isn't working, Internet access is still decently available.

Campus Housing: Anderson for a private college, has one of the cheaper tuition in the state. For the education that you are receiving it is worth the extra money in the long run.

Technology: The computers are very nice, but that is about the only thing that is good here. The wireless internet is extremely slow and hard to connect on. Printing is a problem with only a handful of printers, they are usually being used when in a time of need.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: The athletic center is one of the best facilities I have ever stepped into. It is very organized, and kept clean. The library has many resources that can help most students when they are not sure what to do with a certain topic. Anderson has great traditions and campus activities, with many places for students to hangout and have some quality time with friends.

Academics: Anderson University has only a few majors that fit my interest, and with those majors you have to do Liberal Arts requirements also, that do not have anything to do with the major that you are interested in. The workload is a lot, and professors do not take into consideration what other homework or projects you may have in other classes.

Diversity: AU has very various group in general. It is hard to get along with americans because of cultural understanding.
