Academic Flexibility at AmeriTech College - Draper: This is where I've had a lot of frustrations with the school. When applying they promise to accept multiple transfer credits, then they'll slowly back out and say they can't accept them (more $). They change dates/requirements all the time, and they're not flexible with work schedules. You can't miss more than 1 day per class, and just 3 tardies counts as an absence. Get sick twice in a semester? You're screwed.

Overall Experience at AmeriTech College - Draper: It's a great school for a small trade school. Teachers genuinely care about the students, and the clinical rotations are awesome. If I had to do it again, though, I might go with a more stream-lined university despite the waiting list to save money and have the organization larger schools offer. This school gets disorganized at times- they change dates and requirements all the time, scheduling is slow, and it's extremely expensive. But for the speed of the program, you're probably not going to find a better option!

Overall Experience at AmeriTech College - Draper: Coursework is understandable given how difficult the NCLEX is. The school is very focused on helping students learn how to be ready for the test, and the pass rate is still above 95% I believe.

Overall Experience at AmeriTech College - Draper: The school has great faculty, and it's pretty good with skills teaching. Job prospects are good, clinical rotations are in great hospitals, and the NCLEX pass rate is extremely high. It's super expensive though- so much so that idk if I could ever honestly recommend it to anyone. Not to mention they've been rather disorganized lately while trying to expand their programs and location (i.e. make more money), so sometimes it feels like they care more about prospective students than current ones. If you can handle the financial aid, though, this is one of fastest tracks to an RN license you can find, and overall it's a pretty good experience.

Online Courses at AmeriTech College - Draper: There are no strictly online courses in the program, but it does use ATI (online nursing program) for tests, homework, and skills videos. The site is pretty accurate in material, but it goes down a lot. Some classes (like pharmacology) overuse the program and could be offered online without requiring in-class lectures, but they don't..

Student Body at AmeriTech College - Draper: A student body council exists, but not many get into it. There is a decent amount of diversity (for Utah anyway), and people are pretty accepting.

Tuition & Financial Aid at AmeriTech College - Draper: Super expensive, and financial aid hasn't been as easy for me as other reviewers have said. They do at least warn you about the high expenses from the beginning though. But they will find any reason to make students retake classes, even refusing transfer credits that any other school would accept.

Career Services at AmeriTech College - Draper: Career services are a bit more limited than they say, but the job prospects are good. Many of the nurses I have worked with in clinicals graduated from Ameritech within the last year.

Academic Experience at AmeriTech College - Draper: It's hard work, but job prospects are good, and Ameritech does put a lot of focus on their nursing program.

Academic Experience at AmeriTech College - Draper: Tough workload, but it should be when you're preparing for the NCLEX! Most of the teachers are experienced, qualified, and genuinely helpful. Scheduling is slow, though, and their attendance policy is ridiculous (1 absence per class, any more and you have to retake the class no matter your grade).

Campus Resources at AmeriTech College - Draper: They're trying to add more study areas and activities, but they do not have much of a student center. Athletics, etc. aren't offered but aren't really applicable.
