4 College Student

Technology: american is a largely online campus, with wifi all through the campus and tech support only an email away

3 College Sophomore

Technology: I mean, honestly, if you have a laptop, you will be completely fine. A lot of homework is done on Blackboard, so it's basically a necessity to have it

3 College Sophomore

Technology: AU's internet eagle secure can be very inconsistent sometimes. There are numerous places on campus where you can print, and there is a separate printing section on your ID card.

4 College Junior

Technology: Printing is provided with your "Eaglebucks" card, and is not that expensive if you are planning on printing out articles or papers a couple times a week for the semester. Network reliability can be iffy but AU recently fixed a lot of the network problems and I have not run into any issues this semester. The need for a personal computer is not a necessity but I would highly advise it. There are often not a lot of computers available in the library during typical study hours, but there are plenty of labs around campus if you are in dire need. I would advise a computer for both social and class work.

3 College Sophomore

Technology: You're average college computer network. Ive never had a problem with wireless but no provider is ever 100% perfect. Speed is fine in my opinion. Computer labs and school computers aren't really used by a ton of students so you can find one if you need to use one.
