4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I joined a professional co-ed fraternity and they're great people.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Honestly, this is the only thing keeping me at AU. It's a dry campus, so the Greeks and the Club athletes are the only ones who ever do anything fun. Join one or the other or don't enjoy your college experience at all.

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: While there are no Greek houses on campus since AU is a small school, Greek life is a large part of the campus atmosphere. Philanthropy events are constantly being held on campus that are open to the general student body. Greeks are generally viewed as accepting by the community as the chapters are non-discriminatory.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: Greek life isn't huge at AU, but it's something to be considered

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I'm not in Greek life, but it's somewhat popular

Students interested in Greek life have plenty of options as to which fraternities and sororities to join, although there are no houses for them on campus. Frats and sororities are a good choice for people who feel overwhelmed and want a surefire way to make friends. Students who don’t care about Greek life need not worry, as these groups are entirely possible to ignore.

Many of the students involved in Greek life live on the noisier South Side of campus and are responsible for the rowdy environment there. This makes them easily recognizable for anyone who wants to join in their activities—or anyone who wishes to avoid them.
