3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Theres workload and the facilities are good. Not as much internship options.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The Social Science field happened for me because In the beginning I was going for the Nursing program. So I took quite a few upper level courses and then discovered that math was not my niche. Therefore, I can't say that there's anything unique about it thus far, but the workload has been great as far as my work schedule goes. There hasn't been any problems with the curriculum so far, other than all of the math classes that I need to conquer. The facilities have been great, and I 'm not quite there as far as internships goes. I'm sure there are quite a few job opportunities out there, but I work in a Graduate Department on campus right now, and it keeps me very busy.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Taking GE classes opened my eyes to new things.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: When you don't know what major to do or what you're interested in American River College helps you find the perfect one.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am majoring in Paramedic program, and although I haven't gotten far yet, I already enjoyed the classes I took that will lead me to my goal. The work load is of course reasonable. If you want to achieve somwthing, you sometimes will have to work hard and long, but it all will be worth I am the end. My college also offers help into getting into practicing paramedic jobs before you go into the world. It is a great opportunity.
