I would say that the career prospects are great because most to the students here live in real times and have done extensive work already on the job market here in Sacramento, CA. Therefore, the value of a degree from this school is very high in that most students transfer immediately after graduating over to a 4 year college. I feel the quality of the Alumni is wonderful, with all of the memorabilia you're able to purchase to represent the school as your out and about during your everyday life. as well as the synergy of the students. I work for Sacramento State University and they do a great job recruiting at the school to get students interested in attending a 4 year college upon graduating from a junior college. The career center and the rest of the services is awesome!

Professional Professors – The professors at American River College always seem to amaze me. Professors are always knowledgeable and seem to be dedicated to their students progress. My professors have always expressed availability when it comes to having any questions or needing help throughout the course. Every Professor has provided me with on-campus office hours and phone numbers. E-mails have been the most efficient way to get in contact these days. Some professors even have cell phone numbers you can call or text! My class registration process has been very pleasant. American River College has a registration and financial aid process that works for their staff and students which results in a very easy, smooth, informative process.

I find that everything is very accessible. I love the big student center. There's a Starbucks inside, lots of tables, couches, chairs to sit and do homework or study. They also have a Subway and other food services, too many to chose from. The library is very big and nice. It has multiple floors and nice study rooms for tutoring. They have lots of tutoring services. I likes that in my Math 120 class they had two tutors during class to help the teacher with any questions, and they offered tutoring right after class. It was all offered for free! Why not take advantage of that! There's lots of campus activities. There's flyers about them everywhere even in bathroom stalls. Besides of the students that attend the college and make it seem more ghetto than it really is, I enjoy going to school there. I likes the campus and they've worked really well with me there. They even have a CSU Sac State representative on campus that you can talk to about transferring into Sac State, which is my plan.
