3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I am very unaware of the facilities, I am just going to get units and then transfer.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: They do offer courses related to my subject, but availability is scarce. I have not seen many internship/job opportunities available towards my degree. The workload is bearable, some classes are not challenging while others are fairly difficult. classes are always full.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There is tutoring that the school offers for students, and it is free. Class registration is difficult, especially when you don't have priority.

5 College Junior

Career Services: There is an alumni network set up in order to help recent graduates find jobs in their field, and the teachers help out some as well

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Love American river college, keeps me going back!

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I have found that the online courses offered at this school have been great. The professors email you back promptly when you have an issue. It is easily manageable with the work load. The only time it could get frustrating is if you take an 6 week online English class over summer. It was a great class, just a lot of work in a short amount of time so to keep up on everything was a little difficult.

Academic Experience: The workload is tough. The professors all give a good amount of homework to help you succeed in the class, however when you take 4 classes a semester it can be overwhelming. The curriculum is hard but they do a good job at teaching it in a way that makes you learn and succeed in the class.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are pretty good. At least the ones I have come across. There are a lot of study options for students, including Beacon which is incredibly helpful. Class registration is pretty straightforward. It is easy, however I am never satisfied with my registration dates. Even though I do not get the best registration dates, I still have not had an issue registering for the classes I need.

Academic Flexibility: I have always been able to make a schedule that is easy for me to work around. I try to cram most classes into two days so I can work more, however that is hard to do nowadays because I have only my core classes left to finish before I transfer.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My favorite professor was Veronica Wheaton. She was the best professor I have ever had because she cares about the success of her students. She pushes you to be the best you can be. Class sizes are not an issue. There are so many classes that are offered that meet graduation and transfer requirements.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is a widely diverse student body at ARC. The only issue I have is that some students take advantage of financial aid and just mess around in class and do not really care about school. However, that is not the case for all students.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: This campus has everything you need. The student center is plenty big and the library is great. I never have an issue finding a place to study in a quiet area in the Library.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: The career center is very helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think I get what I am paying for. The professors at this school, for the most part, genuinely care about their students success.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Wide variety of ages, not just the run-of-the-mill fresh-out-of-high-school faces. Makes for interesting class discussions.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Wasn't able to register for the classes I originally needed, so I had to substitute, but it worked out okay.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Filing for FinAid is a giant pain no matter what or where you do it. But having it come through is a blessing indeed.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Lots to choose from. Even a Subway in the Student Center Cafeteria.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have no problem with my professors

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have not looked into this.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Class registration was a smooth process

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Child development and the class that I'm taking is great

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I still have not received my financial aid which is very upsetting. I don't understand why it is taking so long.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: Not really aware of this.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: Don't know much about it
