Academic Flexibility: I think it's actually been pretty good. I am actually a full time student, so i don't work for work to get in my way, but i do have work at home to take care of. And because i take so many classes, i need hours of classes to be different to fit, and i usually make it work.

Campus Resources: I would say the art program. The fact that people are more likely to get hired when finished a certificate or degree in the art field in ARC rather than an institute or university says a lot. As a matter of fact, people are actually coming from institutes/universities to ARC to get their degree in art new media.

Campus Resources: I am not that much of a campus activity person, but i have gone to the library, which is pretty good. I found the athletic and PE grounds to be enjoyable. From what i can see, the campus is clean and easy to enjoy, especially as they start making it better and better with the construction that's going on.

Academic Experience: I found many of the entry level classes felt more like remedial classes. I went into honors classes for the challenge.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There are many different clubs that promote a variety of issues. They range from LGTB to gerontology and engineering. The diversity within the clubs in great. There are also usually many people hanging out in various places willing to interact.

Academic Flexibility: Some times there are availability issues as well as a rotating class schedule that sometimes blocks advancement. Overall however, the classes for GE are available.

Academic Experience: The teachers in both the child care area and the in class teachers are wonderful. Knowledgeable, caring, and invested, the staff excel at what they do. The amount of information given about the profession in addition to necessary curriculum, is astounding. From scholarship information to best ways to utilize electives in a depressed market, these people REALLY care about the students doing well.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is confusing and unclear. They don't have a lot of help either so I was unable to complete financial aid and recieve any money.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I would say is good but is not the best one

Online Courses: I honestly don't get as much out of an online course as I do from a face to face lecture class. I do, however, find it easier to fit into schedules and basically write my own. The workload is piled on pretty high, as my only experience with an online course is my current 6 week Marketing class. 16 weeks crammed into 6 and online will definitely cram a workload. The registration process is more involved than a face to face class with an orientation and quizzes to go along with it. Professor/Student relationships are really less than average comparatively. Peer-Peer interactions are less than average, although we are required to post discussions and reply to other student's posts. It's a great way to take a class with a busy schedule but I will only be doing this again if I absolutely have to.

Student Body: My school has an extremely diverse campus. From ages 17 to 60, ARC offers great courses that are appropriate for any age. Professors and staff create an above average environment for all ages in the classes to interact and learn. The school actively encourages political, religious, and extracurricular involvement through promoting, petitioning, and vending in the quad areas and on the bulletin boards around campus. The topics and areas involved are anywhere from Gay Marriage, religious clubs and resources, music interests, exercise opportunities, and national/international pride resources.

Academic Experience: At American River College, the professors are extremely exceptional at including students in the learning process and creating engaging classroom settings. Each professor that I've had has been very knowledgeable and helpful toward my and other student's needs and inquiries. The registration process is a little less than ideal but I've managed to obtain all of the classes I have wanted or needed, so I cant complain. ARC has great study programs that I have yet to have taken advantage of, but will soon be doing. Some of which are WAC (Writing Across Curriculum) and RAD (Reading Across Disciplines).

Academic Experience: I'm a new business major student, and I couldn't love it more. I was nervous that I'd be in courses with the typical "Business" professionals and I'd be out of my league. The truth is, there are students of all ages and walks of life in this field. It's a diverse and interesting field to be in, and I feel blessed to be able to take my dreams higher with it. The workload is heavy but definitely doable, and even better, I smile while doing the work and participating in lectures because I love it!

Tuition & Financial Aid: Good. I always received what they said I had coming and it always arrived promptly.

Campus Resources: pretty good computer network going on at American River College. I enjoyed it.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Most of my classes were online so I wasn't able to experience many campus resources.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Didn't have much contact with the Student Body. They were represented when I was awarded membership into Phi Theta Kappa and they seemed nice.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Some of the teachers seem a bit out of touch with current subject matter when it comes to teaching the most up-to-date content. So to get books that are updated would be a good idea.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I have found that there is a lot of religious intolerance towards Christians by the student body.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: It is sometimes a pain to have to wait to show my ID at the desk before logging on.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: American River College has a Speech Pathology Assisting Program, which is only 1 of 3 in California I think.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Not a very interactive student body from my experience.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Very upscale library with many levels of study areas, including private study rooms.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Very large computer lab with good computers, usually always one available.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Lots of helpful resources on campus to help students.
