4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Credit transfer was very easy and I started further into my degree due to the university accepting many credits I completed beforehand utilizing hours of basic and technical military training.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My best experience at my school was the classes I took concerning personal security details and campus security. Looking into my field I plan on pursuing once I retire from the military, I think this degree set me up for success. Furthermore, I completed the degree working it into my personal schedule making it convenient and keeping it flexible for a military member.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Class sizes were manageable in my opinion, giving the professors ample time to be able to respond to students and answer questions or concerns on the topics discussed.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This is strictly an online school so job/internships and recruiting on campus are a little hard to come by. I have received career center advice on my major following completion of my degree.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I think online courses are very beneficial to the persons working changing shifts and those that frequently travel on business trips and/or military deployments. Although a traditional classroom has its benefits, the online experience worked for me.

Student Body: The majority of the student body are active, guard, reserve, or retired military...so there is much diversity. There are also international students as well giving a wide range and different perspective on topics of discussion.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Being a military member they are very supportive and will work with military to get you financial aid.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: They stay involved with post-graduates and send job prospects periodically

Academic Experience: Will start program in the fall. Looking forward to the academic experience.

Academic Experience: Workload looks manageable, but will find out when I start in the fall.

Campus Resources: Campus library and school resources web pages are very user friendly

Online Courses: I have never had any trouble.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Participation is vital. Some care, some don't.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Receiving FAFSA money was difficult.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Online learning fits my schedule perfectly.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The main frustrations I've had with my school was understanding the way the semesters went, along with registration, and FAFSA applications.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Completely online and fast paced for individuals who want to get their degree done.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are highly qualified. Each one has given me a background on their education and job history on the first week of school. The classes are straight and to the point. The options in classes are incredibly specific and precise.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: A degree from APU/AMU is just as valuable as a degree earned from any other university.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I love online classes verses in person because it's all about the topic at hand. In person, there's the issue of conversing with people or having issues with other individuals that isn't necessary in a completely dedicated classroom environment. There are no distractions with an online class other than ones that you can control.

5 College Junior

Student Body: With everything being online, students mostly communicate in the forums. Most are because of assignment required discussion topics. However, in the first week of each class, there is an introduction forum where students can get acquainted with one another.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Considering it's a university and I'm pursuing my Bachelor's degree, I expected a high tuition. However, they only charge $250 per credit. Compared to a community college, it's more expensive, but a basic university, it's reasonably priced.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I honestly haven't gotten to the point where I've researched that part in my university. I planned on doing that while I was getting ready to graduate with my Bachelors. Once I receive that degree, I'd like to get a job and work on my Masters at the same time.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes offered under my major are very specific and helpful for what I'm aspiring to do with my degree.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The workload is sufficient for the quick amount of time that the classes are to be completed (8 weeks). The professor is always direct for what is to be expected for the week and help is always offered when asked.
