4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are really good, we are enough to make friends and help each other with homework and team works and we have enough space so we can use the rooms in a good way

Online Courses: We have the option of take 2 online courses and its sight singing and musical theatre film lab

5 College Junior

Student Body: We have a variety of students at my school, in my case I'm international, coming from Mexico but we have students from all over the world like Germany, Argentina, Dominican Republic, China, Israel, chile, Canada, Spain, Puerto Rico, Japan, etc. and it's such a great opportunity to get to know so many different cultures and traditions of each one of them.

Sexuality and religion is not a topic we tal about because we just respect each other in whatever they believe.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think is worth the money I'm paying because I'm really learning so many things and I've become a better actress on stage and person in real life, more mature and independent. The level of education is really good, I just don't like the fact that they charge you fees for everything, if you don't turn in a paper on time is $175 fee or if you can't make a payment on time is $200 fee and it's really wrong because if you aren't paying on time it's probably because you don't have the money right now so what we need is more time no a $200 fee.

The scholarships they provide us are really low and they apply for a year so it's really nothing.

5 College Junior

Career Services: After graduating We are allow to get in to the school just showi g our ID, we have access to every single rehearsing room, the liberty is open for us and the music sheet is just 1 dollar for 3 copies, the copier machine is 5 cents for a double copy, and we are allow to go into taping/recording room with an acompanist for 15 min to rehearse songs or just get recordings of new songs.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My mayor is the hardest of all the mayors here at AMDA, we have a really heavy curriculum that includes 4 different type of dance classes, sight singing, acting, musical theatre, voice production and speech and individual voice lessons. We have a really busy shechule and we have to rehearse every single day including weekends if we want to improve and keep getting better.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: We have the option to take elective classes like "clowns" (a class focused on the student's personality and self es time, so we love our selves more and we can be more independent), stage combat ( a class where we get to know the "choreographies" of how to fight in a safe and believable way on stage, and dialects (where we learn the proper way of speak in different types of dialects from all over the world).

Campus Resources: The library could be bigger for the amount of students whet we are and They really need a gym

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I wouldn't choose to go back. The money was not worth all the unnecessary stress that came with the school's poor planning and communication with students. The classes were not worth the money.

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall I was not impressed with the school. I could not get in contact with my advisor once I was there, I would email and they wouldn't reply. Along with the lack of a meal plan and the tiny kitchen they would try to cram us all into. There weren't enough washers and dryers to go around. You couldn't get a hold of any of the teachers outside of class. It was impossible to rent a studio to rehearse in, and I didn't feel I learned anything significant in my classes.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: They are typical theatre kids. They are friendly, and it's easy to make friends during school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is expensive. Especially since the credits only transfer to the New School or AMDA LA. They give you financial aid if needed, but even with financial aid it is very expensive.

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: There are no career services. They have a career fair once a semester, but it's never at a convenient time.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I was a studio major at the school, which means you focus on just acting. You have to take one dance class which is really mostly stepping. You get one theatre history class but it's only for an hour and a half and you don't cover very much. You get two acting classes twice a week. Stage combat (which is awesome) and an elective of singing, dance, or shakespeare.

Academic Experience: I wasn't impressed. If you have done any acting previously then this might not be the school for you. It wasn't very challenging.

Campus Resources: The only resource is the library. It is open most of the time but when it comes to finals they have very weird hours. There are no student centers, just little spaces with tables for eating.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I cannot have a job while in school just yet due to the heavy workload and strange schedules.

Tuition & Financial Aid: You have to go to the office in person and bother them constantly to get any help.

5 College Freshman

Career Services: Alumni are in the field currently and constantly come back to help the students. Professors treat every day as an audition and help you in the field later if you make a good impression.

Academic Experience: All of the professors have been in the industry and know what they are talking about, getting to know each and every one of the students to better them as people and help them know exactly what they need to do.
