The schools has a very comprehensive performing arts library. Broadway is in it's backyard! The performing arts scene is everywhere. Films, television shows, dance concerts, symphonies, performance art pieces, plays, and musicals surround you. The school has a BFA Mainstage for productions, a Cafe Performance series, Project 15 series, Student Vision Projects, industry showcase events, dance workshops, film projects and end of semester presentations.

The culture is good and the foundation is solid. The schedule is quite intense, which I like, but I could have come more prepared having had a summer suggestion to prepare. Also, having little to no formal training and never even visited NYC the first semester has been quite overwhelming. I believe in living in the solution and this and my faith is what is getting me through. I look forward to Christmas break and coming back refreshed!

The resources here are excellent. The student library is available to all students, staff, and alumni. There are thousands of songs in their database that you can purchase for $1; perfect for last minute auditions! There is also a large directory of play scripts, musical librettos, movies, and soundtracks. Printers are available for up to ten pages free, and the copy machine is right down the hallway for five cents a copy. The library often provides free or discounted tickets, which is posted on the bulletin board, which is great to take advantage of.
