Overall Experience: It is honestly, besides the issue right now with paying for school. It is the best experience with school I have had. I can listen, understand, ask questions and know the help is always there.

Tuition & Financial Aid: This is the only thing I have come accross where I am not to sure what I am going to do. I need help paying for school. I am 24 and an independent and not sure what to do right now. So, I am trying in all ways to get loans to pay for school because that is my main goal, to graduate college.

Campus Resources: Campus resources are everywhere. No one could say they could not find something because there is help everywhere at all times. The library is always open. You can IM your teachers at certain times for help. They ever have online tutoring and online labs to assist you in anyway.

Academic Experience: I love it. It is something I am very glad that I pursued. It has made me a lot more "school ready". I always make sure to be at the computer for classes and actually I am on the computer a lot more exploring things and checking out the labs they have online to assist you. Tutoring is awesome to. There is always someone or something online to help you in the way you need it.

Academic Experience: I haven't yet got to far along in Criminal Justice just yet.. but learning the basics and starting off is awesome. My teacher is great. He makes sure to be there for anyone who has questions or doesn't understand something. The students also are there to help eachother. I like the new ways of learning online. It actually has helped me learn quicker and easier than I did in the classroom surprisingly.

Student Body: Students so far are great. Everyone makes sure to help eachother when needed. Also, they know how to work together to improve eachother and their issues, if any.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I love it online. I wasn't sure at first how it would go since i've never done school online, but I love it. Everyone is great and works together to help eachother make sure they do things the right way. Whenever you need help its there.

Career Services: I think I made a great choice choosing this school to attend. They have helped me in every way need from the start. The only thing I am having issues with is getting the financial aid to pay for the rest of school...

Student Body: I don't really get to know anyone since everything is online

Campus Resources: They have online labs you can access anytime and cover a variety of subjects. They are helpful when writing papers or if you need to brush up on MS Excel or Powerpoint. The library was a little confusing at first, but the librarian emailed me back within an hour and helped me get the information I needed.

Career Services: I haven't had need for post grad services yet, but the online comments seem good overall.

Academic Flexibility: Everything i online so I can work when and where I want. The teachers offer online chat sessions each week that you have the option of attending. They cover course work and answer any questions you have. If you miss a session, they are recorded so you can listen to them at your leisure. They also have office hours when you can IM any questions or concerns and you can email them at anytime.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I wasn't sure what to expect when returning to school but I found their tuition is comparable to other universities in the area. They also offer a couple scholarships for people in need. Outside of that, I had to do my own research to find additional scholarship funds to help with the cost. But it is well worth it!

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I love learning about the law. I know starting a law degree later in life is more challenging but the professors at AIU are very helpful and informative. I was nervous about doing online courses but it works well with my schedule. Each week is dierent. One week focuses on writing papers, the next is discussion boards. And the cases we review are always controversial so it keeps me on my toes. I'm excited to have returned to school and can't wait to finish my BS and move onto law school.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are several options at AIU, from criminal justice, to nursing and medical assisting They have just about anything a person could want. The admissions was very easy and they give each student an academic adviser to help with any missing paperwork or any questions you might have.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They have several different pace options and workload options. The intellipath program is highly used with every class and if you dont like it like me then it makes learning difficult.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: The have resume writing services and alumni clubs.

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Their method of learning is through a program called Intellipath and it is a very inaccurate program that poorly judges my existing knowledge to determine what I should be learning.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They have a strong Alumni network and a career preparation club.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The library has plenty of information, but is hard to navigate. The librarian is very helpful if you need it though.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Except for the tutoring spots filling up so quickly, I feel like the classroom setting is great. I do wish the professors were more accessible, such as a required 24 hour response time as opposed to a 48 or 72 hour window.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's hit or miss. Some professors push you to do your best, some don't. Some seem like they don't care at all.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I am in the alumni network (from my AABA) and they are very supportive as well as great community. They offer job seminars and prospective employer seminars, along with resume support.

AIU Online is enjoyed by students that have a variety of diverse schedules, backgrounds, and career goals. The school is a wonderful choice for those that want an accredited college degree but have limited mobility and heavy time constraints. The Instructors here are well prepared, enthusiastic, and eager to broaden the minds of their students. At AIU Online, many peers turn into friends, teachers into mentors, and students into scholars.
