Academic Experience: I loveeeeee American Career College! Everyone, and I mean everyone, I have met from instructors to office personnel to students are serious about education. There is a variety of ways to get extra help if you feel you need it. All the instructors are extremely caring and really want you to succeed and do well. The schools main focus is to teach students how to be PROFESSIONALS in every area. and they train us to be proficient in the area we want to work in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial Aid Office was great, they helped me when I thought I had no options and gave up. The Girl who helped me ( I cant remember her name of the top of my head) did such an amazing job. She got my whole loan covered and I did minimal to contribute, just filled out the FAFSA. Theyre great and they really want to help you if you are serious about attending school.

Campus Resources: There are like fifty computers in the computer lab. That is plenty! Whenever I go in there, I always get a computer with no problem. There are printers in there and you do not have to pay, no matter how many pages you print out. There is internet on those computers. The school also has wifi. The speed is good enough. A computer is needed towards the end of your education but it is included in the tuition and is given fo you when you start needing it. You could get your own computer if you would like and they wont include that cost in your tuition fees.

Student Body: This school is very diverse. You can be any race, religion, etc. Everyone is very accepting. There are also many guys and girls. There are people with full time jobs, part time and no job. There are people fresh out of high school and there are also older people with families who want a better job. Everyone is very social but everyone also knows that we are there to learn, so the socializing is definitely not a problem.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition for Surgical technology is $35,000. You definitely get back more than you give with the education. You get hands-on experience with the school's realistic O.R. They have all the instruments you need to know and even do fake surgeries so you are fully prepared and comfortable when you go out on your clinicals and start working as a Surgical technologist. You also get an associate's degree with this program which also makes the tuition worth it. Plus, financial aid helps you apply for financial aid and loans the very first day you sign up, so you have an exact idea of what youre getting into. Great school!

Campus Resources: I took a test to see if I was at entry level of the course, and the network was good. Everyone took their test and printed out the results. There weren't any hassles.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The reason I'm giving a C at the moment is because I haven't started the program yet. So I can't grade the value of the education at the moment. But my experience with the financial aid office was ok. The person who was helping me explained it cleared the entire process.

Campus Resources: College Life – some uniwue things are that most of the students strive and actually succeed in what they do. The school has events for the students like student apprieciation day for us.

Academic Experience: Job Placemet – My school is all about helping you graduate and understand what your doing before you actually get out into the field. Once you finish your externship they stay on top of helping you a job.

Campus Resources: Student Center – We have a great student center that you can go to any time of the day and everyone is very nice.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Understandable Circumstances – They have set schedules for classes, but they are different for every course. They will try to work with you.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Ask Questions – If you have any questions about this school, you can ask anyone there, and if they don't know the answer, they can find someone who knows. If no one knows, then they will find out for you. Just ask questions, lots and lots of questions. Make a list, and ask. I found out that the financial aid doesn't do a lot for you. They tell you what to do, and you sign the dotted line. I'm thankful that most of my education was covered by FASFA, but they do offer you a payment plan through the school to cover what isn't covered. Overal, it's a heck lot better than Bryman in 2006.
