Campus Resources: Teachers are wonderful at this campus. The sites that you do your clinicals are very good and you get so much hands on. I was able to be at the VA for first term and then for 2nd and 3rd term I was at usc where I got to see the hosipital aspect and experience different patients. I am currently at a acute hospital and am getting a lot of experience on wound treatment. I am really enjoying what im doing. However I think the staff at ACC needs a little improvement. They are not as organized as they should be.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel the tuition and fees will be well worth certification in my career field. Although the whole cost of tuition is not covered by financial aid and loans i'm and dedicated to succeeding so i don't mind the monthly out of pocket fees.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition are costly but its worth it. I trust the people that are giving me the right education. Financial aid helped me alot it covered my tuition which I pay back a few thousands. Bring all the correct papers because if you don't you'll be coming in the financial aid officd up and down.

Academic Experience: My specific major is getting certified as an optician. To me it is very interesting because its straight forward, there are no other classes that are related to optical dispensing. So far my experience in American Career College has not be regretful. Im very proud to be here because not only have I learned alot but this process is also helping me make my future career brighter. In my college they're called externships which allow you to go out into the field you have chosen and get hands on working experience. The way you complete the externship is by doing hours and its a month long if they like you they hire you.

Academic Experience: At American Career College in long beach they offer dental assistance, medical assistance, medical billing/coding, and my choice of academic study which is optical dispensing. The instructors here are excellent. They not only provide us with the right information and make learning more easy , they also give one on one time for those who go to them in need of aid. In the optical dispensing class the work load is steady yet somewhat difficult but can be done with ease if reviewed, studied, and remembered. The classes are fairly small which allows the instructors to interact more with their pupils. The registration process was fast and easy. The administration advisors are willing to go to far lengths in order to enroll students in the college if there are any complications. My opinion of this school is that I like it and its better than a community college even though its costly it is still worth it.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Everyone is available majority of the time. There is an open door policy. There are computers in classes and in the library and computer lab. The library has textbooks if you forgot your own at home and you need to study with. The hours and great. Campus is open and 7 so is the computer lab.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The biggest complain people have is about tuition. The tuition is worth it. You get what you pay for. You learn so much and your hands on practice prepares you for the real life experience when you finish. The book work is great. You learn not only new recent information but u also learn old techniques and information... So if you end up working with an old fashioned physician, you're well prepared

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Every one in a while the network would go a bit slow if all the computers were being used. Other than that it was pretty good. And students get WiFi

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is medical billing and so far I enjoy it I don't regret it at all. It's unique and they teach you everything you need to know

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Every person who works here at American career college is there to help. There always looking out for you to make sure your not falling behind. They work with you especially if you have a job and require more time in your studies or anything.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: So far my experience at school has been very positive. I rated myself a c because I work hard in my studies however it's exhausting to balance school and a full time job.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: This school has it's own launch room it's like a mini cafeteria with microwaves and soda machine. With elevators and sometimes they make events and bring food trucks.

5 College Senior

Student Body: There is great diversity. Everyone gets a long and is willing to help at a moments notice and when asked.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: At times the curriculum can be difficult and it seems that assistants and teachers a like are overwhelmed with so many students. That means that students are left to guide other students.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My first experience with financial aid was horrible. The lady took me as someone illiterate and unable to understand what forms I was filling out. I reported my experience and soon after the school handled this problem. I was forwarded to someone more competent and willing to take my hand in such a difficult matter.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: The people here are very attentive to the class and the classroom needs anything anyone needs for class it's givien to them.

Academic Experience: I am attending the G.E.D. class which I just started attending the school last week. My grade was only on two days I was here. As i come to school more i get the information i need to boost my grade.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I'm a dental assistant and they prepare you to become a register dental assistant. They offer an embassy for program if you meet the requirements and it entails special duties. The workload is manageable if you do not work. If you work you need to make time during your day in order to study. The facility is great and up to date. The externship they offer is great and they have a 98% hiering rate. They take you by the hand and explain all job opportunities and make sure you are comfortable and prepared to go out in the field.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: The facilities on campus are okay. They provide a library, many computer labs and lunch room with well stocked snacks, drinks and even food. They also provide utensils. Everything is up to date and always kept clean.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Most of the time the network is working good. But and when there is a problem it takes days for for IT to get on it and fix it. Teachers get frustrated when this occurs.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: They offer the program that I am in at a faster pace.

1 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: There is no flexibility other than you have a night classes and day classes. If you miss a day you have to make it up and there are not many options and they do not work with you.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The class requires a lot of studying which is a hard habit to get back into once you have been out of school for a while but the instructor explains everything in detail on theory days which is a big help. If I had one complaint it would be that sometimes things are a little unorganized
