4 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone at Amarillo college that I have met is amazing. They are very friendly and they help each other out. I've ran into only a few where they wouldn't send notes from classes that you miss but that's everywhere you go.

Academic Flexibility: In General I love Amarillo College. When I first started I was scared because my high school teachers made it out to be a very scary place and basically stated that the college professors didn't care if you passed or failed. I found that to be a myth. The professors at Amarillo College do care if you pass and more times than not they are willing to work with you in terms of your homework.

Academic Flexibility: They are really good at trying to work around when you need classes but sometimes it just isn't possible.

Academic Experience: Right now I don't have a specific major because I am indecisive on what I want to do with my future.

Academic Experience: They have a decent selection of majors and courses to help get you where you need to be. Class registration isn't too difficult if you don't wait until the last minute. But there are those classes that fill up the day registration begins. There is a special study area on every campus and usually a tutor for most courses (not always on site, but there usually is one in math, English, science, etc)

Overall Experience: I love Amarillo College. I wasn't so sure of my major when I first started school here so I floated around taking all the mandatory classes for what I thought was my career choice and decided it wasn't for me. But the staff is really supportive and helpful in assisting you in making career decisions. They are truly wonderful people.

Student Body: There is a wide variety of people from all walks of life on campus everyday. It is refreshing that it isn't totally homogenous.

Online Courses: I have had a few different online classes and each one had its pros and cons, so I suppose it varies for each person. I took an online anthropology class and did not have to purchase any of the physical materials recommended for the class, the teacher provided the reading for each section online so we had access wherever we needed it on our phones, tablets, laptops, at work, etc.

Campus Quality: There is a wide variety of people on campus and you are sure to find your niche somewhere. There is at least one guest speaker or debate every couple of months over some interesting array of topics. There are clubs to get involved in or intramurals, if you are more the athletic type - or highly uncoordinated but determined to play - I am sure there is something to get you involved. Plus there is not 1 but 2 different museums on the Washington Campus!

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: They offer several options there

Campus Resources: It seems like every time I go to try and talk to my advisor she is never there

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: We have to pay to print and the school so I don't find it as a place I want to go to print

3 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Its just a place to get an education.

3 College Freshman

Campus Quality: There isn't anything really special about this campus. It gets the job done and its simple enough.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: Everyone is very polite, as well as friendly. Helpful when they can be. This college experience is what you make of it and a great stepping stone up to bigger universities.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have tried to work with my school on getting assistance in paying for my classes and they have been no help pretty much at all.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There is rarely any campus activity going on.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The network reliability is bad. The schools website is always undergoing matienence and sometimes it is hard to turn assigments in on time in my online classes because the website always has a problem.
