Tuition & Financial Aid: My experience with the financial aid office was the worst out of all the schools I have attended. Not because I was denied financial aid but because the school bases the decision to give financial aid based on the number of hours you have attended school. They also wanted all transcripts from all schools you were enrolled in. This hurt my chances of being granted financial aid. When I was younger I registered for a lot of classes and did not drop or attend the class so I got F's. I was unaware at the time that this would happen because I did not want to talk to an advisor because of the long lines. Now that I'm older I understand the processes better. I have an Associates of Arts and received financial aid when I obtained my Associates and the school is not willing to take that into consideration.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I did not use financial aid.

But I take classes while in school and it is surprisingly inexpensive

Tuition & Financial Aid: ACC is fast about financial aid and the advisors get back to the students as soon as possible about any questions. very helpful

Tuition & Financial Aid: Everyone in the Student Admission's Office is so helpful, and they truly care about helping each and every student. I do believe I am getting a great education at Alvin Community College.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Alvin college offers an adequate for a low-reasonable price. Alvin college has been in the top 10% of community college in the United States for the last two years in a row. With that being said, they off this caliber education at about $1600 a semester for full-time.
